Great update, I especiallylove your GTR shots. :tup;

One question though, how did you manage to take that pic of the GTR whilst it was in the pit area?

Welcome to my world. Big problem with a lot of my pictures. I usually "shave" the angled edges off with some delicate, delicate pencilwork in GIMP. Just match up the color of the pixels behind the angle, and you should be OK.

not particularly happy with this update, but i did my best. i had to re-do a whole new shoot. most of the first ones did not turn out too good. hope you guys like them though.

If the 2nd wasn't so darky, it colud be the best of the set, but they are all very nice (that car helps too )

I thought that BMW fitted a big BBS. Btw nice look. To be honest I've expected a little bit more quality of photography, a lees "casual" with a more pro compositions. They are good, nice variety of shots. I like the 1st and 3rd thumbnails the most

My way is easier, although it could only be done on one track... On the High-Speed Ring, if you go into the pit lane without going in that long way, like the way in before the last turn, then you can take pics of the pit. I'm not sure this works on time trial though...

Now, onto the BMW... The pics have nice lighting, and I really like the Multi Car shot. It is blended so perfectly 👍

Fantastic BMW shots. I really like what you did with them, and that multi car shot looks awesome. I like the previous Skyline shots too, I think your shots look good. Great work man. 👍

I like the combo BMW/Merc pic, you did a nice job, and it's a very fitting setting. My favorite though, is the M5 with the blue glowing background. It looks like some strange creatures are about to jump out from behind the pillars or something. Very cool effect. I've always hated that photo location (it doesn't do justice to being there in person), but I might have to give it another chance

hmm, seems like everyone likes the 2nd shot with the blue background. i wasn't very fond of that shot. dunno why. i was actually gonna enter it for one of the competitions, but decided to go with the aston martin which i think wouldn't make it to the poll thanks for the comment though!!

you should definitely give it a shot. i didn't even notice the 2nd M5 shot had that effect until you mentioned it hahaha. yeah the new james bond Casino Royale actually had a scene around that area, and i have to say you're right.
it is so much nicer. i'd love to go there one day. anyways, thanks for the comments!

thanks k_d! i've tried that on the ring and yes it does work, but then you dont get the pit crew to work on the car (last time i tried). and it only works there. anywho, i'm glad u liked the pics! not quite happy with them. i think it must have been due to a lack of inspiration

thanks alex. like i said before, i've been having a bad run of photos lately. the first set that didn't make it here were somewhat good, but i had to delete them coz i got a lot of bent angles, and the lighting was just not working out.
and i had too many jagged edges. about the wheel, that was off of the CLK touring car. thanks again btw!

thanks!! i'm glad it worked out too. i had to buy a different color just for this update. i just wasn't feeling the gold colored one that i won.

I like the tone of the picture, but it seems to be distorted a bit. The front is a bit odd, sort of reminiscient of the new Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

thanks ! well, i guess it must be the lighting. the front end did actually seem a bit weird, i think it's just the way the light hits the front end of the car. the 'dude' is actually a character from Rule oF Rose. i just threw a diffuse glow and then distorted him a bit, then put some sort of blur on him. other than that, i don't see why the photo seems distorted. maybe i'm missing stuff that i can't see. can u point them out please ? would be greatly appreciated. if you're talking about the ghost, i did that on purpose..thanks in advance.

What I meant by the distortion was the front end of the car. It must be the lighting as you say, because rest of the car is okay.

And I only noticed about the ghost now
