Hey! glad to see you back here again. i have been keeping the tutorials in mind yeah, but most of them are just basic techniques really. and what a good life you've been leading. no ps2 and no photoshop. that sucks. oh well. as long as you have your priorities straight. atleast you have access to internet, so that's ok. you should visit more often.

i feel like a total idiot. this update was inspired by my Unedited Competition Entry for the Classic Car theme. never did a presentation like this before, but now that i know how (sort of), i thought i'd give it a try. so take it easy on me and i hope you guys like the update. i still have to experiment and go back to alex' tutorial page, which i have bookmarked. anyways cheers guys

Well sorry if i didn't comment in your gallery at all and thanks for commenting on my gallery I mean i feel awkward commenting all of you "excellent" gallery owners. But i got to say, that Z32 pic looks awesome 
a good clean up but i totally agree with you on the hood. What happened there? And you're new update looks quite good as well. 👍

Cool shot and editing. I love the elements and the angle, but what happened there. The edited one looks a little stretch it…but cool update nevertheless.

no need to be sorry. there are times when no one comments on someone's, or in this case, my gallery. and no you should not feel awkward. there's a time when we all start out with the not so perfect pictures. even the good people here still show imperfections from time to time. thank god you agree with me about the hood on the Z32. atleast i know i'm not seeing things. thanks for the great comments
and no, i'm not 'excellent'. the good ones are just not around too much

The Mercedes its awesome too, the classic look its all there...and the un-edited shot is also impressive, U might win the comp mate!!👍

👍 but i doubt it would win the comp, franz' entry looks pretty good, if not way better than mine. it looks like a really hi-tech, at the same time blast from the past sort of photo. it's awesome, but thank you! thanks. what happened there? it's called i editted it
i cropped out the bottom part because i didn't wanna have to deal with the stupid watermark.i mean, i clone stamped it, but the surface looked screwed up, i blurred it a little bit, and it still looked ugly. i didn't wanna ruin the little bit of motion blur from the game from doing those things, so i just cropped it. i think it looked better anyways, atleast to my eyes it does. thanks for viewing and leaving a good comment on it though

The 300ZX and the Corvetter are incredible and look very proffessional, very well done!
I personally like the image skew on the corvette, but that's just me.
Not so mad on the BMW, but it's a clear shot.

Alex: i dont know if that's supposed to be good or bad but i know TW has a great gallery, so i take that as a compliment i suppose.
Observer and Rez: I dont remember using imageskew on the corvette at all. it's as original as can be. the only two photos i used imageskew on are the green Lotus and
the Mercedes. but i'm glad you guys liked the new photos 👍 i might actually do a full edit of the bmw shot.
TVR: always great having you here. my new update...nothing special this time though.. i'm just passing by the time for my next 'Hyper Lemon' style update, which won't be up for a little while, though alexwrc has already seen a stock preview of it..anyways..

That's a really nice and simple shot, J.
The car's a bit too centered on the shot, but the high contrast/bright sunlight works great on this image (even still it looks natural and somewhat realistic), and the car looks very clean and not over-softened, as has been a trend lately on many member's shots around here, which kills all the details and it just looks like it's softened to mask away the bad textures.

PS: I already commented on the Vette shot on the comp thread, but it looks equally good on your gallery, you've got a winner there!

Beerz: yeah i've noticed what you've mentioned there about the photos. it's weird. perhaps it's just a trend or something ? and thanks for the comment about the corvette in the comp threads 👍 i'm so glad it won me a 2.0 comp for the second time! i'm so happy! it's my 2nd win in a row. now about the nissan, most of the brightness that you see there are mostly from the game, but was enhanced by the brightness/contrast and the light effects filter from ps. i had to be really carefull with the cleaning of the hood, since there's so many details to preserve. it actually drove me nuts for a while. never thought such a simple photo could take so long, with so much need for care, not to mention adjusting the saturation, since i chose 'mature' saturation from the game, so the red paint doesn't look crappy on cs2. i found it's a good way to take photos of red cars without the paint being too textured or whatever it's called. anyways cheers!

Damm...U are really inspired lately...your work is always a pleasure to see...look at those recent updates, just beautiful. In the 1st update, the colours and reflections are gorgeous, but I also like the camera alot!!

here is my gt4 2.0 comp entry. more of a painting really as compared to aiming for the realistic touch. just thought i'd do something different. dont really know what to make of it. i hate it and i love it at the same time. here it is...

The same happens to me. I love it, but at the same time…meh…there is something that don’t quit seem right. I love the place, the trees colors, the temple, the background. But the tone looks a little opaque and those clouds are to strong. Maybe a little passage with the smudge tool, to make it look more soft. I also think that that picture would result better in a less saturated color. I am not saying totally black and white, but almost, with just a little color seen.
In overall is a great shot 👍

I just spent most of my lunchtime going through your gallery from the very beginning. I am amazed at how well you have developed your skllls in approx. 18 months and can only hope I manage to repeat part of what you have acheived in a similar amount of time.
