Just realised Joe hasnt updated the correct start times

Gippone and Allascato start time is 12am bst which is 11pm GMT I believe

Well, 20 laps and I'm .200 off my race pace from last season. Which means I'm about 2 seconds slower than the leaders.

Crap! Need some set up advice from my team mates.

Did a 2 00 2xx yesterday , saw gippone run a 1 59 9xx . (soft tire)

He is fave for pole id say .

SkengD
Hope that isnt too late for you guys

It's not a problem, it's like the old midnight racing league... remember SkengD? I only wanted to be sure about the correct timing :)

I'm available all day. Ill run some laps with ya if you like :).

Gippone if you own a smart phone, safest thing is to add London on the world clock feature :), I'm terrible with time zones lol. But yes bst+1 would be 1am

Just to clarify the situation with success ballast

Success ballast is not halved.
The max weight of any car is 1250kg
Success ballast will continue to be added even if you are over 1250kg to make the ballast system still work. But you cannot go over 1250kg. So it in effect keeps you at max ballast as you are still successful at max ballast.

Someone available for me to qualify with? :)

no.. :(

A bit disappointed with the ballast rule , I thought it was half ballast for everyone once someone goes over 1250.

I guess ill be a heavyweight until the final round .

My gripe is with the heavy ballast the 10 less hp in the celica definitely shows.

Maximum Ballast is 1250kg, the spread sheets weren't updated after the ballast discussion a few posts back. Ill update and re post jpeg's today!

Why don't you try driving the Subaru, then you might have something to complain about SkengD lol. The Subaru never places higher than maybe 3rd. It was a fluke that it won at Monza last season. Most of the top runners had ballast. I really don't think that anyone of you faster guys can make the Subaru place higher than 3rd. 👍
You're pretty fast in the Celica as it is and you're still not happy with your car? I haven't complained once about driving the turd out of the bunch of cars. 👍

Ill drive the Subaru next season , none of you guys try the rwd subaru , im sure its a good car .

And i like to complain/whine , sorry , cant help it .

The RWD Subaru was good, I didn't know about the tuning style I know now when I had the choice to run it. I'm sure it's faster than the RX7 I'm using.

By nature the Cusco had the lightest kg irl which I can see why, but R1600Turbo in the GATE series showed its potential finally. Yea but most Cusco drivers will be slow in it unless their naturally blazin fast. Skeng takes the Cusco next season and ill take the supposely not so worth while Silvia Razo and I bet I get podiums with it. It may not be fast by personal lap times, but it holds its own on track with the highest trap speed!

To be honest I don't like the ballast, even if I place well with the others laden with weight, it's simply not satisfying. It feels like winning with assistance rather than skill. Just my point of view.
