Yea man haha... I'm not a prick unless I need to be. I don't think I will "hate it" or completely suck at first as most say... But I definitely won't be in any type of comfort zone.

Anyone practicing later? I haven't even got a lap in yet...

Really?!, If so I would at least clock a full simulated run to get a understanding of what you are going to experience over 12 laps here night & day plus your pit stradegy. There are 2 pit stradegies that I see here that can play out. Because of night and day running and also running the tires down to nothing I would get a consistent lap time vs fast laps. I plan on coming up thru the grid without knocking out fast laps, but at the same time simply not making a mistake at night. It gets really dark in some places! 👍

In 2-3 hrs ill be online running a full race distance but set at night time non stop. Did a daylight distance last week so need to do a night one :P

Zach try this 1 its spot on.

Race Start 12:00
Time Progression 13

-1st stint day, grab tires goes dark for full stint, grab tires again then goes dawn to full day for happy hour as Le mans calls it. 👍

Joe, the op has 2 different race distances, one says 12 laps, and the other says 15 laps.

15 laps is pushing 400km and a 2hr race, so I hope the 12 laps is correct

Race start update:

As the start line will be Sector 1 line there is very little space for warmup and to bunch the field up.

So you have until Turn 1 to warm up tyres, after that you must be lined up not weaving waiting for the Sector 1 line.

Remember, go when the pole sitter crosses the sector 1 line

I'm at my daughter's Volley ball game, but soon as I return I would like to knock out my qualifier. Ill see who's around 2 to 3 hrs from now. Cam if we can time it ill steward your qualifying run! 👍

You can't pick tyres as you started qual.

You start ahead of the guys who show up having posted no qual time.

You start behind the slowest posted qual time.

If another person leaves on qual lap, you start ahead of them as you did your qual first

I'm absolute garbage with a wheel. I will practice as much as I can today but I may pull out early if I even start. I won't be able to have a proper race as I spend 30% of the time backwards and in the grass or agaisnt a wall. No control to race close to anyone. Takes over ten minutes to complete lap. Wheel is tough.

For what is worth I had the same problem this being my 1st time here with a wheel. I'm focusing on not spinning more than fast laps here. I haven't been able to complete 12 laps without spinning yet.

Heading home now, are there any stewards available in a hour or two?

Home now so if anyone needs to qualify let me know. I will be checking the op from time to time'
