What does mean "1 full stint" exactly for you?

What about Nurb 24h?

1 out lap, and 1 full lap combining a total of 2 laps on hards not mediums.

SkengD the GT500 Op will be up and running this weekend 4 sure! Reg's & Car list are all done and I have you down for the Calsonic GTR with Gprilli. I will be posting a link here on this tread. Check back Sunday Night at the latest. 👍

Nordschliefe Update

Okay so we have reviewed afew things and changed them. Sorry for anybody who has been practicing.

Tyres
We will instead be running a hard/medium mix this race. Qualifying is open to either hard or medium, whichever tyre you qualify on you must start the race on.
You must run the hard compound for 1 complete timed lap. That will exclude Inlap/outlap.

Race start
The race will start at the sector 1 split line (the first split). Due to the short distance to the split line, you may only warm tyres up to turn 1, then be in an orderly line like normal.

Qualifying
You get 1 lap which is your grid start lap. No lap will be void, but stewards may penalise for corner cutting.

Time conditions
Time conditions are currently being tested for the race, it may be anywhere from 10-14.

If anybody wants anything clarifying, just post. :)

I assume that for a 100% equality between each driver, quali are run on the standard track (no weather, no time change = sun and shadows everytime at the same place), right?

Your dead on! 👍

Qualy conditions are

Time 12:00, progression 1
Weather 0, changeability 0, surface water 0

so the track must be reset everytime someone wants to run his Q. Why don't simply run the Q on the standard track? Any true reason?

Please can you stop questioning every decision made
Consider this someones q'ed after the track opens up everyone can jump back in without the need for swapping tracks

It's a carry over from our Spa race when the qualifying had to be done in wet weather.

It also prevents the tyre bug on raceday when we are still qualifying people. As if we did it on the no weather layout, we would then need to change track for the race which would induce the tyre bug

A track refresh isn't necessarily needed for qualifying multiple people as time condition 1 means game time advances 1 min for every real minute. The sun/shadows aren't that different at track time 1pm

But in short, no there's no real reason

This is what i wanted to know and this is perfectly clear now. I was just not aware that you guys still run qualifier sessions in the race room, just before the race.

Yeah qualifying doesn't close until 1hr before the race so we run qualifying in the race room
