In the case of the dropouts, disconnects, lap downs or whatever, if you guys think it's serious enough, just have the race count for half points instead for that person.

I think half points is a pretty serious penalty.

I think most people were expecting that anyway.

👍 for penalties

technically speaking if your getting whooped, you're suppose to practice harder to find speed like I had to do, imo of course. lol or choose a different car!

Or just be like me and think about breakfast after the race and you go faster. Always works when you feelin hungry in the morning!

I can deffo approve this, sounds a good idea. Those for Alefins idea do this. 👍👎

Ok Seth, Zach, TnT, and others left to vote and then well move on to the next poll. My goal is to have all the polls done before 2 wks from now so I can build the op with 2wks left before the start of pre season!

Saturdays test session is scheduled between 2pm pst and 4pm pst due to GATE GT300 Series, and the Indy Brickyard Spot Race'

We can also have another test session on Sunday after Seth's 90's event also?

I do not want to go through the trouble of switching cars nearly every weekend and setting them up. I do not have that time nor patience.
I like to stick with a car and learn it. Also Ive had fun developing them slowly with my teammate so Im not up for this at all.

The ballast system should be sufficient to equalize the field. I mean as someone just now said, the results speak for themselves.
In fact I think the ballast system is already too strict!

Do you not read through the whole post before you reply?

What's hard to understand? FOR CAR CHOICE- You choose the car you want to use for a time trial (any car). Play your strategy how you want to. You can choose a slower car in the time trial to get a 'car choice' sooner with your slower time, or run a faster car and get more points but a later car choice. What's hard to understand about that?

BTW I prefer time penalties for incidents. And points penalties for rage quits. If D/C half points of where you were placed before you got D/C.

I thought you meant we do a time trail with control car throughout the field and then we are issued a car for the race based off that.

It's getting to complicated this is, to many ideas to drastically change things when it's not needed. The people that are slower will not win a race no matter what we do.

We had some cracking races last season and all that's needed is a little fine tuning of a couple of cars and were good to go.

wow i wish i had never mentioned my idea it was simple and not hard to implicate and no offense seth but it that system would create mass confusion. during the season and drivers may join late

the easiest way is to either let everyone pick there car like it currently is.
or
let every one decide on a track and give every one the same car from recommended tab.
give a week notice for practice give each guy several 3 lap trials similar to the current quali setup.
average the laps then order drivers in terms of average laps.
as i suspect many could get a quick time but not every one can do it over and over again.
i would happily help run it if needed
i also have a hd pvr so can record so every one can do it at a time when it suits them if i coudnt make it i can simply get it of a drop box file

Ive raced with the pp system youve mentioned willfred and it is a decent system but the weight ballast penalty system works best .

With a pp system drivers can alter hp and/or weight as they please , with the ballast system you just get heavier which in turn makes you slower .

When ballast is given to cars in the top 5 then those cars will be slower the following race and the other cars should be closer to the heavier cars .

we had altered i since the lupo the winners got ballast and later guys got bonuses
and if we keep the weight of cars the same as now it makes it easier

I thought we wanted to do 3 car teams ? So a max of 3 of the same car ?

I think we should use both time and points penalties .

Time penalties for milder incidents and first offenders , points penalties for extreme incidents and repeat offenders .

Good idea :)

But my Vote is for points deductions 👎

I also vote yes to doing both penalties

I'm still driving my Subaru with Joe. :)

Next Poll: Pre Season Races: 0 Races | 1 Race | 2 Races

2 Race: 👍👍
1 Race: 👍
0 Race: 👎

It sounds like there are only 2 people who want to do the pp system, but If you guys want to have a poll on it I can set 1 up?

Other then that we need to talk about the penalty program, and how penalties will be giving out. And then on to our track list for season 2, so I can create the op with enough time for participates to sign up.

Because of the tire compound situation we're going to run normal tire wear for season 2.

2 Race:👍👍

I'm all for replacing Laguna Seca with another track. I'm burnt out seeing that track in almost every series lol.

Tup tup 2 races.

I'm 100% against pp systems, but you can run a vote on it if you like.

Might I suggest we take like the best 2 races we had last season and use entirely different tracks for every other round?

I had to get going. I would have hosted but i stayed up late so by the time i got online I was in another race.
