Nope never got your friends request.

I think there's just tracks list and the car regulations to finalise then S2 OP should be ready?

Should we vote for tracks for s2 ?

So long as the tracks are different I don't care tbh, but some people may reaaaally want to vote lol. Depends if they say they want to vote before tracks the tricks are decided

Doesn't really matter to me. Ideally, I'd like to see different tracks like maybe more of the original tracks, but whatever lol.

I know a lot of ppl hate them but I'd like to see some weather change tracks. It could shake things up a bit during the season

Agreed with the weather change races, i think any track that has the weather option should be used. It's good to add some curve balls in there and the weather races I've ran previously were very entertaining with great racing.

As the majority ruled to drop 2 races for next season does this mean there is only 1 overall winner? Not like this season where we had a winner of this and a winner of that etc?

1 - Overall championship winner (2 races dropped).

2 - Team champions (2 races from each driver dropped).

It was more of a split. But if you guys feel it should just be 1 winner with 2 rounds drop so be it. But don't expect me to acknowledge anyone other than the winner with 0 rounds dropped lol.

Not everyone can plan to be there every week to race so the only fair way is to drop 2 rounds. It brings the championship closer together and is a better reflection of how the seasons races went.

I found it a bit unfortunate the way season 1 tailed off nearer the end but as it was season 1 and problems were still being ironed out it just happens.

Hopefully once season 2 gets going, there should be no need to tweak anything and it'll be a straight battle through to the end, but with 2 races being dropped the championship will be closer throughout and hopefully with a bigger group of guys evenly matched on points.

Dropping races doesn't reward consistency and rewards flukes. If a guy finishes top 3 or dead last he will h ave a better chance than a guy who finishes 5th/6th each week.
And yeah yeah real life n all that, EVERYONE has a life so everyone suffers, whether it be having no track time or missing a race you still suck that round.

Anyway my feelings are well documented on the matter.

i know you can get it so it rains lightly and the track will stay dry for a reasonable length of time

what about how British super bike do it they multiply the total points of the top 5 riders either one or two races before then race points is like double for them for the last race
sorry for double post

If that's what you guys want, all you have to do is set "Weather Change" to 0, "Starting Weather" to 0 and put "Surface Water" to whatever you want. For a wet track probably somewhere around 50-100%. It dries up during the race, can't remember how long into it but a good chunk will be dry.

If you want the randomness of weather changes you'll have to set weather change to something (I usually do most random and extreme change 10). Even on 10 though it sometimes never rains. If you want it guaranteed to be a wet track, also set "Surface Water" and "Starting Weather" to something.

i think it would be safer to have light rain but a dry track and preahaps run 2 rounds on one track so you could have to shorter wet wether races so the track doesnt get too slippery having a night race might be quite fun like a suka 8 hout but it ends starts in dark and ends at dawn
also are we going to change any of the car specs

I'll remember that when you can't make a race due to personal matters. There's things in nature you can't control. And if you miss a race because something happened then so be it. But to say it rewards flukes is out of line. 👎

would this help in any way it the bs b showdown system explained it makes for exciting racing

The first nine meetings (19 races) form the "Main Season" of the championship, before the final three meetings (seven races) make up "The Showdown". The championship change has been introduced after Leon Camier clinched the 2009 title with four races to spare, thus introducing a crescendo of competition.[24]
The normal FIM point-scoring system still applies, with 25 for the winner and a single point for 15th. At the end of the Main Season, all riders then drop their two worst scores, which must be from events they have at least qualified for. From this points order, the first six riders in the championship standings will be elevated to a new base level and become the Title Fighters for the final three events and seven races of the championship.[24]
Each Title Fighter will start The Showdown with 500 points, plus additional points for each podium position they have obtained in the Main Season; 3 for a win, 2 for a second, and 1 for a third, termed "Podium Credits".[24] Using the first nineteen races of Camier's 2009 campaign, Camier would have had 547 points due to his fifteen wins and a second place out of the first nineteen races of the season.
The standard points scoring format from the Main Season then continues for The Showdown, with all points scores from the final seven races counting.[24] All riders outside of the Title Fighters continue to race for the BSB Riders' Cup, continuing to add to their points total from the end of the Main Season. This also applies to the new Evolution class.[24]
ive also had an idea to keep intrest for thoose that could not attend i could do a edited race video and link it in might help keep interest as we race Saturday i could edit Sunday and it would be up on monday

Your feelings are well aired and I can understand your argument as your one of the drivers who can make all the races. That still doesn't hide the fact that the best drivers won't be challenging for the title unless they can match you for races attended.

For example a guy could come first or second in all 6 races he attended and doesn't score any in the 2 he misses, this means he will more than likely not end up with more points than a guy that consistently scores points but never wins in all 8 races.

And to say this system will reward flukes is a terrible way to describe it.

Edit - I think the weather should be completely random, it's pointless doing it if we know what's coming and can practice for it. Yes you can still practice for weather overall anyway but not knowing whats coming is all part of the fun (challenge).

Should we vote for tracks for s2 ?

Yes pick 10 of your favorite tracks and I'll add them up.

Zach after super bowl I will attend to your PM that you sent me. 👍

Next Poll: Weather Change Tracks
Weather: 👍
No Weather: 👎

can every one just read thruogh the bsb points sytem it give the top 5/6 drivers a fresh start so it gets close again
it might be the solution and give a consistency bonus
