Heyas killa. I think you mean like number of cars? Joe and I didn't decide about anything like that. So a pick whatever car you like if you feel like racing :)

Cheers mate, you understood my clear question first time out :) Im leaning towards the Premium RX-7 because of the high speed nature of the track, I'll let ya'll know if I do decide to race.

7 lap race, so im thinking a one stopper?

Panoz the mr-s had to be dumbed downed a bit that thing is a beast in a straight line!

Seth panoz kk, I know you guys are some hardcore racers, we're looking for stewarts to help out with qualifing and other decisions when the season 1 starts shortly after? We're looking like a 8 race series with a 1 wk break in the middle.

I tried to create a private lounge and it worked, was a bit slow to load. I tried 2 free laps and other 2 laps after a bit of tuning for the Subaru and my best time is for now 6:56

Im happy to help when I can...

Looks like I'm on the pace, my first lap was a 6:58, then a 6:55, then a 6:53 with the Celica. And that's not even at full power. I still have 370hp, I always limit the cars that aren't broken in so as to allow some room for improvement. I only have about 75km on it so far, so I'll need to break it in all the way then see how fast I can go.

I'd be ok being a steward, I don't want to hand out penalties and stuff though. I'd rather keep track of fastest laps, specs and stuff.

hey guys, i have a practice room up if you want to try some settings out against the correct opponents.

PSN dayofwar2009

will be running occasional races.

Starting P1 session now await times for Cusco Subaru chassis.

Afelin,
Skeng says he's interested in this series after we're done with this spot race, and have moved on to the series side btw' 👍

:( Now for me it is time to go to work

Man I'm glad this race is some time out from now there is a lot to learn here. I'm going to need to run multiple simulations to get my car setup and my disciplines in order to survive and be fast here. This is starting to feel like an All-Star Event now that I did some laps, but 1st let see if I can even break into the sub 7 secs mark!

Gippone That's that 8 hrs difference man! 👍

And also thankz to all stewards guys for helping!

I think 6:55 or lower is a decent time to shoot for.

I was really nervous there for a minute when I was stuck at 7:04's, but I just hit 7:00.732 without tuning yet so there is a lot pace still there!

I'm taking the RX-7 around the ring to see how bad this mph difference will be at around here. I'm going to run it at full downforce and post the difference.

Cusco Subaru highest mph reach: 161mph on the straight & 166mph around high speed down hill left before the braking zone

RX-7 wasn't as bad as I thought I only found 1 to 1.5 more mph than the Cusco in all area's, but that car feels faster and the turn in is actually better that the all wheel drive Cusco in my opinion. You just have to catch it on the exit of the turn>

All & all not bad for a P1 session now that I'm ready to break into the 6:00 min mark!

With the ballast for the Subaru, put it to the rear and it changes the character of its turning.

I'd like to sign up for this. The time works for me.

I'll post my car choice soon.

We're glad to have you! 👍

Hey Seth I'm way ahead of you there I have mine set to the back already, lol'

Cool, I'd have to drive it to see how the Subaru handles compared to the others. One of the Subarus is RWD.

i voted for 12 laps just to make it more interesting.

i did some testing with tire wear, and found that the 4th and 5th laps get kind of hairy on the mediums, but i was still able to pull off a 4th lap 6:50.483 with 2 minor mistakes. 6:51.356 on the 5th lap with no mistakes, i haven't tested any other tire compounds yet though (assuming we are allowed to use them?)

i guess i could always be a little nicer to the tires though.

Seems like top speed will be key here. I think i will make up more time in the turns though. You can always draft.

i thought about that, even running lower downforce.

i didn't even get to finish a timed lap and knew it wasn't as fast. only gained 5ph on the straight, and burned up the tires quicker.

is anyone willing to send me the standard versions of these cars, so i can test them?

anyone interested in running some practice laps/races? i have opened a room several times but few people join or even stay because of all the limits.

i will be on almost all night tonight. would be great to get some competition.

I would vote 12 laps to make this race really worth it 7 laps went by to fast. There's a whole lot of practice that's going to be need to run with the front runners, and after all this practice I want to be here for awhile.

Gippone I knew you would vote big mr enduro guy! 👍

6:50 is amazing roscko since I'm still on breaking into the sub 7:00 mark, great job as of right now Seth is your competition until we get more time slips posted'

I haven't ran full power yet. I'm running 370hp on the Celica (out of 374), plus I don't have every upgrade, just turbo 3 and I've yet to break the car in (only ~50miles). There's plenty to come, I even think 6:47's are possible.
