Lexus does seem to lag abit with just the turbo, so will put the stage 3 in soon.
Thanks Joe and Alefin. :)

Put me down as a reserve in the '03 standard Subaru, I see you already have a full field so I guess getting a spot will be difficult, but if someone signs out I'm up for it,

and I'm already signed up for the season

Surely someone won't be able to show, so I'm sure we can find you a slot on the grind TDZ'

that's cool Joe, I'm not fussed as I'm already in the series,

I'm sorry I have to drop this :ouch: saturday night I can't be online for personal reasons. It's so sad :(

Not a problem, but I hope not too many people are gonna do that. It's gonna be a busy Saturday lol

I'm ready to qualify whenever I can catch a stewart online. Afelin I'm sending you a pm right now heads up buddy'

Australia & California have good time windows for each other! I have my world clock setup now, Los Angeles, New York, London, Germany/Johannesburg, India, and Sydney.

I'll be online tomorrow and I will need someone to watch me qualify, and I also can qualify someone if need be.

your Sydney clock needs to be wound back 1 hour, thus acount for the only australian worth knowing,

If we cross paths tomorrow I can do that,

I'm pretty sure its an hour, we are on daylight savings now, and yes I'm a south central Australian, Adelaide, where the F1 belongs,

As a personal preference, it's much easier to get ahold of me on PSN than on here. Just send a PSN message to me if anyone wants to qualify. PSN name is same as GTP name, "alefin"

Adelaide is 1 of the few tracks from australia I wish we had on GT5. I know everyone loves Bathurst, but I would take Albert Park Circuit over all, with Bathurst 2nd, and finally Phillip Island 3rd. There another s1ck street circuit in New Zealand too that I wouldn't mind having.

I haven't driven the old Adelaide F1 circuit but I have driven the V8 super car circuit and well its very similar, its only got 1 less corner, but there is no better feeling then getting turn 8 perfect, in a formula 3 its alomst flat out in 6th gear, around 245KPH apex speed, you have to hug the wall on the way in and almost hit the wall, which I have caressed gently:scared: I wont lie it had me winking  but when you get it perfect you barely turn the wheel and let the car do its thing, there is no better feeling on a street course,
as for Albert park, I hate it, I havve also driven F3's there, apart from turn 5 and the turn 10/11 high speed chicane, the rest of the track is monotonous crust,
Bathurst, Australia's version of the green hell/ circuit De Spa Francorchamps, I have done the 12 hour event there, in a Ford Falcon GT production car, and some free practice in a 91 NSX GT3, and its the ducks guts of a track, you really do have everything, no T.V or Video game really show's how much elevation changes there really are, it makes Laguna Seca's famous corkscrew look like a speed hump, Imagine how steep that is an multiply it by 3, in length and height and how steep it is, then you have "skyline" down through "the esses" drop through "the dipper" and stop for forest elbow then gun it!! I would give the right to my potential children to race the 1000,
Philip Island, the most insane track in the world, and with how many miles I've accumulated there in testing, close to 12,000KMs you could almost say its my home circuit, but its 11 hours away by car, its a track where its testes over skill and experience, on a qualifying lap in an F3 car to be up the front your hot lap starts at MG corner, or the hair pin before the last 2 sweepers, in a F3 you have to get a great run out of there and have the man hood to hold it flat through the last 2 turns onto the front straight, the difference in time is 2 seconds or 40KPH more straight line speed, then you need to take turn 1 flat out, with the washed off speed from that you change one gear down and take turn 3 and 4 flat out then change back up to top gear then brake to 50-70KPH for turn 5,

Going online

are you still on,

Alefin already has a room. And are you a racing driver Dave? Man Id like to drive Bathurst one day for real...

less then part time now, usually a race engineer position, but I'm plotting my return, hopefully March-April next year in an endurance capacity,

If you ever find your way into Carrera cup or V8 Supertourers / Dunlop series, let me know! Love the tin-top stuff in australia. :P
Have only ever been behind the wheel of an average go kart with a 60k top speed, never need to brake much. That F3 car must feel great!
