You disconnected about 5 times already and the time was gone 12.30am, more than 30 minutes after the race start. Should we of waited all night for you?

We weren't on track until half past after race check... It took 10 min for me to reset and get back in...

Technically we should have but with his connection so bad and disconnecting multiple times I actually didnt think we were going to wait. But no matter it's done I guess.

And seriously am I a bloody punching bag this race??? Got boxed around the ears left right and center. :grumpy:
At least one driver had the courtesy to re-dress though, respect for those acts.

I'll be trying to run my future rooms as a fixed host in an attempt to work out international players connections. Maybe . . . lol

Anyway, please do upload the replay for the first room. I'll work out results later tomorrow.

I've also received more complaints people abusing runoffs. I think it's time to deduct points lol

Good racing guys.

I need to consider race distance in my setup next time. I was losing way to much time. 59's all the way and then lap 11/12 it just starts dropping.

Well we will see ya'll next week at Laguna

Take care.

Well, I feel slow. Had a good race with sand. I just wish my mom knew to give me some peace and quiet; "are you even going to-" "🤬 interruptions made me spin!"

Is .428 slower than .510?

I ran off track at turn 2 on laps
15, 23, 24, 27, 28

If you guys feel this deserves a penalty then so be it.
The later laps: consider it was around 1.30am because we had to wait forever for one player to try and join the race...

Also international players causing lag? I hosted room A last week, if I cause that much lag would I have been able to host? No.

In the preface lobby I had a 9 lap battle with cam. Could I have done that if I was lagging no? Yet I move lobbies and suddenly I'm all laggy?

It ain't as clear cut as "oh internationals cause lag"

And while yes I lagged in the race. I paid the price. Having 4 crashes, 3 of which we because of lag.

Fastest laps room B

We added the new rule of disconnects before lap five get a restart, but we also need a time limit for how long we wait before we go. Race starts at 12 my time so in my opinion 15 mins after that we should be racing regardless of who were waiting for.

Same mate. Was nearly 1.40am before race end. Lap 30/31 I could barely keep my eyes open

Yeah I think 15 minutes before we are racing on track or if someone IN THE RACE disconnects then 5 laps grace period.
Otherwise they're out.

Not really saying that it's because you're not in North America that you're lagging.

But it's much easier to figure out who's lagging when it's a fixed host, because everyone will be connected to one person.

Otherwise everyone is connecting to 2 or 3 different people and it's quite possible that someone else isn't properly connected.

If you're lagging in a fixed-host, it's much easier to see and it's going to be either you lagging or the host. No middle man.

Or that's how it seems to me lol. At any rate, I'll probably have to try it before the race first at the very least, because I don't like the host dies and room does thought

5 laps or 15 minutes sounds fine.

I told everyone to restart because we all would want the group to do the same for us! Plus it was within 5 laps that he came back. And I was actually in a better position the first time around (5th) than the second time (8th). I was directly behind the 4 Lexus's. Pepsi and I had a good battle, draft is tricky and I bumped him a couple times. But I gave his position back. The same can't be said for others who did the same thing. There's going to be contact, but be courteous and if you run someone off track unintentionally, give their spot back.

Stewart's investigating incidents for Nurburg rd, plz await verdict.

I received 2 incidents to be reviewed by the stewards, and also a quick summary to the cutting chicane rule. If you cut a chicane to gain advantage on track you will be penalized. If you cut a chicane to pass and didn't relinquish the position you will be penalized. If you cut a chicane because your tires where shot and didn't advance your time this will be a 1st time offense warning, BUT if you cut the chicane on a consecutive basis because of shot tires or not you will be penalized. GT5 uses a 10 sec penalty system so we will follow the same rules. If majority of the stewards agree with this than its a go. I'll need 24 to 48 hrs to review all the tapes from both rooms to get a verdict in. Any help on particular laps that you guys notice a driver deliberately cutting the track would help us sort this mess out quicker. Stewart's we also need to decided if ramming some one of course should be a 10 sec or 15 second penalty as well. Thank you for your support'

Skeng your request for Celica hp figures to be re reg'ed is definitely open for debate. Also If by the end of season 1 if the Lexus's are continuing to dominate the races & qualifiers they will be reduced for season 1. We will have to review replays very closely to see if they need weight vs hp re regulations. Imo weight takes away from corner speeds if there corner speed is the dominating factor, or if it's down the straights then hp will be the way to go since hp doesn't really deal with corner speed.

Also new DC rule is up. Up to lap 6 if a driver is dc'd we will re start race, but do to time constraints we need to find out how many allowable times we'll allow a driver to try to re connect before the race must commence, also will be discussed this week between the stewards. Fellas put your comments in on this via pm so we can consider everyone's feelings on this matter. Once again thank you to all for participating in our series. 👍

Exactly. We both cost each other a good result but it was cool of you to wait.
Just remind me to stay away from Garaiyas from now on.

I invite the stewards to check lap 20 before the chicane. I know I've had my incidents, but I feel like I was very careful this round. I personally think there was a slight double block and I barely kissed the bumper of the car in front of me. He also started braking about 50m later than usual and had some wheel lock before my tap.

Same sh|7 happend to me at fuji a couple weeks ago.

Look.... I'm the FNG I have little experience on track with other cars. On my own I'm lapping pretty close to the top 3-7 cars. I think I can be competitive.

I qualified outside of regulation... held up the grid for 15 min, and had said incident on lap 20. Knock me back X amount of time or positions if necessary.

I had fun, so thanks.

I apologise for my disconnecting, but it had everything to do with sandwiches still showing a load bar under his name. When I came in after you all started the race, it still showed sandwiches on the track and with damage. Then I get disconnected again. The next time I came back in the room it showed him loading through out the entire race. I run my PS wired and nothing else running on my modem and I have fast cable internet. Some people need to fix thier connections. 👎

Thank you for waiting alefin.

I really appreciate you doing that for me seth. And thanks to everyone else for stopping too.

sorry I didn't attend guy's, I stayed up all night awaiting the DTM event only to be told it was cancelled, eventually fell a sleep,

@Alefin, what we spoke of about my qualifying, will we continue to follow this for all drivers? I believe we should, it will make people a little more careful and think twice, even though I ran wide because of hitting the apex kerb I still ran wide, so I'm comfortable with the decision we made if its followed through with everyone,

@Zak, the above refer's to my qualifying, which took place at 3AM my time, I turned up and accepted the penalty that followed regardless of what time it happened, as in a sense I came to the room to qualify as you came to the race full knowing you may make a mistake due to fatigue and what have you, I'm not going any further on this subject as I was the one who suggested my penalty I take and I request you do the same, as we are the stewards and don't need to bring the series into disrepute by having a set of rules for the stewards and another for the casual racer's,

@joe, Celica needs no more then 5BHP more I believe, in saying that perhaps some other guy's could compare it to the other vehicles,
also, don't make the DC restart based on a lap number, base it on 10 minutes, any more then that drivers will be in the zone or know where they are at with strategy, and it will only be a maximum of 3 restart's, anymore then that will be unfair to the people who do not steal their internet from KFC,

Also I'm glad to see there is no mud flinging around the room, must have been a good race, sorry to have missed it,

As I said on line 3, if you guys feel it deserves a penalty so be it. I never said I shouldn't get one.

@joetruck,

If you are going to be checking everyone for track contact, you should also be checking turns 2 an 4, as this is where you would gain the most time by leaving the track.
