May not make this race guys, I have a badly swollen leg and cannot move it. Possibly going to hospital

Ok thanks, ill get some practice later and qualify tomorrow or Friday.

Do I host the qualify lounge or does the steward? What notice do the stewards need and what are the best GMT times for them?

Zach is a great steward for the GMT 0 guys, but I can qualify GMT 0 guys in in the morning time which would be your 6pm to 8pm slot if you request me to be available at those times.

Many thanks, I'm normally fighting with water, soap and children at those times !! :)

I had a little go with my sticks last night but was a couple seconds off. I'm hoping the wheel will give me another 1. I may need to ask for some help with the setup though as it was a little tail happy and I fear my tyres will not last too long. How many pit stops do people expect to do in 30 laps?

Thanks again to all who responded to my request for Lexus setup assistance. The collective results are very surprising. It appears that there is no one way to setup a car and if you stand back and look at the data it appears to be just a random set of variables that somehow collectively works for the driver. I have setups with spring rates that go from 13 to 19.8, ride height from -8 to 0, and ones both negative and positive toe angles. It gets even more bizarre when you compare LSD settings. They ranged from 17/45/10 to 7/7/20. I don’t want to be over critical since it is a game but from my observation the algorithm used appears to have only a cursory relationship to the real world and the inter connectivity of various individual settings are beyond my understanding. That having been said I did manage to arrive at a much better overall setting. It is clearly not going to push me to the top of the pack but should provide a more competitive drive.

If you were looking at my LSD setting... I had it backwards... LOL. I'm now running 10/10/12 and it's MUCH better. I know what the car is going to do.

We usally have been doing 1 stop pit strategy's, but Skeng did a 2 stopper at Mazda and got podium with it so if your fast you could make a 2 stopper work. My only gripe here at Monza is I wouldn't want to lose the draft pack so I personally won't pit until the pack pits so I can keep with the draft.

Just a freindly reminder guys plz get your votes in on the season 2 discussion tread about race distance, the polls will be closing this weekend so we can introduce the next topic of tire choice and grid starts! 👍

I've not heard from ZachAk47 as yet, are you able to host a Quali?

I'm hitting low 1:52's. But still running high downforce. I think I can go lower, but I donno if I really want to as it sacrifices braking.

Same with me, low 52s max downforce. I find any time gained by lowering downforce, is then lost in sector 2 with the lesmos

I'm hitting 1'51's at the moment, but come the presure of qualifying and I'm sure ill hit low 1'52's as my qualifier lap!

Scratch that!, I hit a high 1'50 a couple of times so I should clock a 1'51 qualifier even with mistakes,.... hopefully'

Hi Guys, big thanks to ZachAk47 for hosting the room last night. Quali was over before I really got going. I was practicing without tyre wear on prior to Quali. Got a 51.4 but only on the odd lap. I was hoping for a mid 52 but hey ho, I'll try to hang on to the slipstream and conserve rubber in the race.

The tyres took a while to heat up in Quali, not fully there till half way round 2nd lap IMO.

I'll keep an eye out for when someone else does a quali run as I'd be interested in watching.

Downforce was always a pointless thing to play with before, has that been changed in an update recently. Full DF was always a given as the difference in Top speed was non existent. In the Arta I'm getting 157 at the end of the straight.

I'll be tired, but I'm looking forward for my 23:59 GMT Sat Race!! 👍

Unfortunately I'm not here for this week race! Away for the weekend again. Good luck to all you guys racing.

I plan to qualy tonight around 9-10 gmt

I might just be able to catch you right before i go to work. i'll power up when I wake up 8pm your time and see how your looking at that time. 👍

Due to extra polls being in place before pre season testing kicks off, I need to close the race distance poll by Friday Night so get your votes in before hand if possible.

Ugh wanted to quali this morning. Not feeling to well and I have 6 hours of Q4 meetings ahead.

I will probably do it this evening or tomorrow.

Zach 52.138 @ 1200kg

Hope my pedals dont act up during the race like they did before qualifying or I might as well park it.

Haha, lap 2 dive bomb at first chicane, if it goes wrong blame it on the pedals ;P

If they dont catch the telemetery I might. :sly:
But really though even abit of throttle sticking and you go straight on, it's scary. :scared:

Powering up for qualifiers!

Skeng: 1:52.383 <---- Clean'
