Tokyo has no colour, all I see is white lines and grey everywhere, bar the odd patch of orange on the road for grip in the bends, dullest track in GT7 :) Shoulda gave us R246 so we could protest outside the polyphony offices :)
All Tokyo races should be at night. It’s gridlock all day every day anyway, no way they’d be able to shut major routes for daytime races like this anyhow. Running daytime races in Tokyo is perhaps the most unrealistic thing in this whole game.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS (996) '02
BMW M3 CSL '05
Ford Model T Sedan '24
Isuzu D-Max Vision GT Gr. 3

New track:

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Motorcycle Circuit)

New events:

I doubt it would be that bad,

Personally, I don't understand why more people don't see this.

There's been a problem with cars, and events to use them in, going back to GT5. I recall when 450-550 was all the rage in the lobbies and having something 600PP or more was pointless both offline or online. It's the same game, over and over, with features removed.

GT5 is still the pinnacle with far more features than every iteration that followed it. Their removal of features speaks to a short staff, despite whatever they claim.

Because they've made super simple choices. American Cars in the Americas, European cars in Europe, and Asian cars in Asia...and, Tokyo gets all the love, I assume, because the 1 dude who is responsible for all of this loves Tokyo.

There are enough tracks if they bothered to fill out the events. For instance, why are there "Porsche Cup" races, but no Porsche Cup Championship? It would have made far more sense to have some other events, like a hot hatch race at the Nurb and then separate cup races for the manufacturers....but, like I said, the game screams of having too few people to do even the most simple task. And, really, a race is little more than using the custom race interface, so you can't claim that it's a chore.

Hopefully we get some more Chili Pepper races. There's far too few of those.
Every single race event should be based on the chili pepper system. Still askim myslef the point of having eaces where i start 20/50 seconds behind. It seems sometimes a game done by people from a tps/fps gdr party game studio.

You can slam into a barrier at 350km/h with barely any damage to the body of the car, and no damage to yourself, but driving Tokyo in the daytime is the most unrealistic thing ;)

If I had my way, damage would be catastrophic like real life. Your race would be over, but the spectacle of the crash would be EPIC. The damage we have now is just a nuisance.

I wish my real world car would automatically and magically repair itself after about 20 seconds while I continue to drive it. 😂

As far as having troubles deciding on a track, what I meant by that was going online with friends, then picking a track, it feels like ehhh we just raced that one. Almost like call of duty and that one map keeps popping up. Also you grind all week to get more money, somebody picks the track that you raced all week and it’s like, ugghh I just drove this track like a thousand times. Maybe if they just did a flat rate payout on all the tracks for difficulty. Like I run the Ferrari challenge at Maggiore because for me is $153,000 guaranteed, 20 minutes of racing then I shut it off. I’d do the Porsche challenge at spa but really it’s less more for about the same amount of time. There’s a couple other challenges that I’d switch it up between but again, the Ferrari challenge for me for a guaranteed win with race bonus thats the one. I’m wearing that track out. I do not like the ones where you have to save your tires and fuel and pit. I would be happy with a $300,000 payout for 20 minutes on the Porsche and Ferrari challenges I mentioned earlier but not just those cars. Why not have the same race, same payout with muscle cars or whatever. I like driving the Camaro but you see the challenge payout it’s like meh no thanks.

And, really, a race is little more than using the custom race interface, so you can't claim that it's a chore.

You’re right, all they have to do is increase custom race payouts and I honestly think I’d just fire up custom races and make my own events but it’s rendered pointless but the weak af payouts. Like a wasted feature in the game. Do the Ferrari challenge, 5 laps, 2 minute laps, $153,000 or do the same in custom race and get fifty bucks. Lol

It would especialy be nice if the damage was catastrophic in sport mode.

Don’t expect a new track in july update i don’t see that happening, it too early for new track expect a new track at very earliest for august content update, as much as i love new cars and tracks its not nearly as important as to add a big amount of events, i would rather have new events on each of tracks for all classes than any new cars and tracks would also be Nice to have those high payed races on all tracks

You really don’t think there won’t even be any cars?

The pattern PD established in GTS was cars every month and a track roughly every other month (sometimes alternating between new track and new layouts/weather on existing locations every month), I don’t see why that would change.

I’m expecting at least 3 cars and probably some scapes, who knows where.

Cars yes that will come every month for sure but tracks no 1 per 2-3 months at best, i know the pattern pd takes, with always a content by the end of the month, besides cars we can expect new engine parts and engine swaps thats also guranteed to get updated each month

If it has vision in the name, it might have something to do with GT.
This was a common misconception that PD even fell for once (the RX-Vision GT3 Concept once had a VGT tag but was later removed). Also the Volkswagen Design Vision GTI Concept was also frequently confused with the Roadster/Supersport VGT (granted since these all previewed the styling for the Mk7 Golf).

I think we're due for some more missions. I know at the least, we're likely going to get one new drag mission, since the last one in The Sun Also Rises implies it's the first one of a series. I, for one, think the missions are a lot of fun, so I'm also wondering what the prize cars could be for a future set of missions. Unless it's a lot like The Human Comedy where we use our own cars for every event - wherein the prize cars could be relatively random choices - I'd imagine any cars we're assigned for a new mission will be a potential reward.

I also recall hearing something about more endurances, so I'd hope the prize cars for those sorts of mission sets would be cars that have a strong, possibly historic connection to endurances, like Le Mans or Daytona. If and when the Toyota GT-One (TS020) is added, I could absolutely see that as being one of the prize cars. Same thing with any other premier-class endurance racer, like the Bentley Speed 8, or the BMW V12 LMR. Perhaps we could even see the debut of some more LMH/LMDh cars, like the newer prototypes for BMW or Cadillac - as well as the upcoming Acura ARX-06 - which would similarly be fitting prize cars for future sets of endurance missions.

Wow... We got 1 track in 4 months, and it was last month no less, and people are already thinking we are going to get another right after that.
This is a prediction thread guys, not a wishlist.

It's like you guys like to set yourselves up for disappointment...

Meanwhile I predict:

Cars:
-Lexus LFA '10
-Porsche 918 Spyder '14
-Toyota TS020 GT-One '99
-Jaguar XJ220 '92
-Dodger Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00
-Chevrolet Corvette C8 '21

-2 sets of 8 missions (16 total) involving drag races, 1-lap magic, time trial, overtaking, fuel management.

-3 sets of championships with 2 of them having 5 races (Supercar Championship / Gr.2/GT500 Championship) and the other 10 (Gr.1 Championship) with nice payouts and prize cars that you can win more than once.

-1 new endurance race, 6 hours of Monza since Monza has so few races. Over 10 million payout with CRB. We also had this race last weekend as well.

-Lobbies get a complete overhaul and are finally fixed.

-We get the ability to sell cars.

-Some more scapes.

This is a lot more likely to happen. A true prediction

You wish... I'll be just about satisfied if we can finally sell cars with no restrictions.

I would be very suprised, if toyota gt-one...will again apear in gt games, at least in this one...wonder what they are thinking with content wise...and future plans...
it all seems they can't organize correctly and do job as they should...

Hmm, maybe they'll alternate between real and returning fictional track for like 3 months in a row before taking a month break. Uhh, I don't have any basis for which will return so I'll say Grand Valley or Apricot Hill since people have been talking about those.

We can’t base anything from anything/nothing. Your guess is as good as anyone else’s. I think one person guessed Watkins Glen. One of us are bound to spew out a track we feel will arrive. It’s a game within a game, while we wait for something to happen.

The Toyota TS020 is almost as iconic to this game as the Escudo. It's easily acessible for PD to scan as well, it's a Japanese car and a Toyota after all, and it has history, and lets not talk about its looks, pretty generally considered one of the most beautiful race cars ever.

If the Escudo came back, the likelyhood of the TS020 coming back is pretty damn high. I won't hold my breath obviously, but it would be a massive wasted opportunity. Much like the Escudo, they likely have it reserved for an update to cause an impact on the community, in a way to drip feed you.

Monza 1 race.
Nurburgring 2 races just with porsche cars.
Who the hell took those decisions, who approved it?
I do not even want more cars. I wantvevents that push me to use the 440 cars available. That’s should be their goal when they structure the game events.
Honestly embarrassed for them. Seems a studio without experience and at tgeir first car game 😂

I think PD is seriously misjudging things if it thinks people are excited and ‘happy’ to get these updates of drip-fed old content that’s been held back deliberately. It’s all getting boring now. New stuff like the BRZ Gt300, fair enough, if it’s been recently scanned, add it in an a update, but the old stuff like the Escudo and TS020 should have been there from day one.

When the Escudo arrived I wasn’t grateful, didn’t think ‘oh great, it’s here, good work PD,’ no, it was more ‘what took you so long, clowns...’ They are annoying people, not exciting them. If they think this is how to run GT as a GaaS model, they need a rethink.

My prediction this month is still three cars (one VGT, one SEMA, and one more I might actually be interested in), no track, a few events or Cafe books but nowt with big payouts like the Big Four. And at some point, maybe soon, they’re going to reduce payouts for those, probably by first removing their ‘automatic’ CRB awards.

The ONLY thing I’d like to see this month is MORE EVENTS for places like Monza, Interlagos, Nords and Bathurst; iconic tracks and PD’s pretty much ignoring them. No cars, thanks, just events please. Some chance though...
