Yes it is, on checking you are correct, it has recently gone into beta. You have to become a patreon to download the mod, I'm keeping a close eye for a few more features but I do intend to give it a go. Updates are coming pretty frequently.

There is 3 levels of patreon wounder of the cheapest one is enough, i will become a member later too to play that mod when it gets ready, i am just started ac on pc so i barely had time to download new cars yet, but got content manager to be able to upgrade the cars that have the data in a acd file, there is plenty of mods avaialble, this could be good time to jump into those mods in the wait too see gt7 get more content😊
 
I predict that Road Atlanta will be the next track released. Other than that, Polyphony needs to release a larger number of cars for this update if they want to get all these datamined cars out quickly.

The RS500 was in the datamined list. But I really want the Group A race car alongside the road model. Pleased to see the 190 Evo2 has both versions listed. We really need Gr.4 or TC versions of the RS500, 190 Evo2, E30 Evo, R32 GT-R.

I was hoping we’d see the Calsonic R32 return. Surely, after we found out the Alfa 155 was being scanned and sound recorded. A proper fully rendered version.
The 190s have to drop as well. I’m pulling multiple triggers if/when when/if Kaz posts either silhouette.

We won't get Pikes Peak without the Tesla - they will come together. And I expect the Tesla will be a silhouette?

Grand Valley, Autumn Ring and Apricot Hill must feature soon.

And I'm fairly certain we won't get more boring EVs added to the game. The ones already in it are bad enough.

Honestly I don't care about more cars. I want more tracks, but even to that point I really just want MORE EVENTS. Events specific to different groups of cars and/or a few championship series please. I also cannot stand PP system in its current form (esp when boosting the power then restricting it to gain mpg is used). Basically means you never drive any vehicles in their pure stock configuration.

I think the middle one is the minimum needed to download the mod, but yeah there's so much to do and try in AC there's no need to rush into paid mods early on.

If they are going to include that pikes peak model 3 then i think they should include the road going version as well but that's just a wishlist at this point.

Is there any other car that's been confirmed to be added in a future update?

At this point, no. The only other car pre-announced before an update was the GR010.

Well, other than the 'coming soon' VGTs and SEMA award winners.
 
If they are to add endurance races, but for some reason don't add the option to save when entering the pits... would be such a wasted opportunity in my opinion. Not everyone of us can play for 1h or more on a single sitting. This feature was added in GT5, and worked quite well... Commiting to an endurance race takes quite some effort, let's say they add a 3h race at Suzuka, with all the glory of random weather and time progression, I for one would not get the chance to race an entire 3h race without save mid-race.

One thing I really hope gets done is a lot of small fixes and polish to the game, some small features that were in previous games, and got removed in GT7, add up quite quickly while playing, and it start to become frustrating and an annoyance.

What the game needs:

1 Selling
2 LOTS more events (incl championships, preferably in a league)
3 Penalties to make Sport mode bearable

What’s probably coming:
1 Three cars few people care about
2 A handful of events or menu books
3 At least one weird new bug akin to the calliper glitch
