With Granturismo losing it's FIA endorsements, I hope that helps with the layouts remaining the same.
I personally found that Deep forest's new hairpin is kind of like a tumour on the old circuit that doesn't belong, even if the nature of the hairpin provides an overtaking opportunity, it just feels out of place.

Trial mountain had the last silly chicane as part of it's character, now the boring dog leg chicane that kills the flow like the last chicane at Catalunya.

Deep Forest can definitely do without that god awful hairpin. Deep Forest's appeal to me atleast, was that last corner essentially could be taken well over 150+ if you had the skills and guile to do so.

Same can be said for the chicane at trial mountain, it's unnecessary. I'd like to think that part was added because the final stretch was infamous for corner cutting. Guess time penalties weren't enough to deter. :P

The FIA had nothing to do with PD butchering original track layouts. Just look at the rest of Trial Mountain, does it look in any way safe to you, with exposed rock faces, trees, and flimsy picket fences on the back straight?

No word yet?

Remember the good old days when there was hype before an update?
Yeah we're dreading it more than anything. Expecting to be disappointed by lack of needed changes has been beaten into us and three cars, a few new chase-the-rabbit events, and maybe a new track aren't enough to balance that out.

But being able to buy parts on-the-go is a very good thing if it's actually going to be in this update. It's such a pain on the PS4 especially having to go all the way back to the tuning shop just to make an elegible car for a lobby. It's one of the many things that needs to be brought back from the GT5/GT6 days. I have a feeling PD is going to find a way to not make this as convenient as it could be though.

I’d also like to have parts I bought for a car, be selectable for a duplicate. I shouldn’t have to buy a car and select parts for 20 MINI Coopers, individually, if I already bought all the parts for one of them. There should be an option to Select all parts and the Cr. withdrawn whilst I’m in my Garage. That’s just me though.

They’ll nest the world map within the race and you’ll have to load that up, then reload the race :P

This isn't already the case?

Funny thing, I bought a second Z28 and when I went to buy parts, many of them were already "purchased". Maybe I had done it already and totally forgot.

Silhouette tweet should be this weekend for update next week.

As for my predictions:
Track-Road Atlanta
Cars- BMW M2 Comp
Porsche 918 spyder
GT3 car of some sort
Mclaren MP4/4
Aston Martin Vantage 2018

Events- 8 new events with 2 being endurance races.
Menu - 3 new menus being car collectible ones again.
New engine swaps and special parts.

Yes I am completely insane for being so optimistic
