July update predictions

I think PD is seriously misjudging things if it thinks people are excited and ‘happy’ to get these updates of drip-fed old content that’s been held back deliberately. It’s all getting boring now. New stuff like the BRZ Gt300, fair enough, if it’s been recently scanned, add it in an a update, but the old stuff like the Escudo and TS020 should have been there from day one.

When the Escudo arrived I wasn’t grateful, didn’t think ‘oh great, it’s here, good work PD,’ no, it was more ‘what took you so long, clowns...’ They are annoying people, not exciting them. If they think this is how to run GT as a GaaS model, they need a rethink.

My prediction this month is still three cars (one VGT, one SEMA, and one more I might actually be interested in), no track, a few events or Cafe books but nowt with big payouts like the Big Four. And at some point, maybe soon, they’re going to reduce payouts for those, probably by first removing their ‘automatic’ CRB awards.

Those are precise choices of game design made by PD. It is not improvised, that’s why it is not going to change. They should seriously reorganise everything. Because if we as normal and just passionate people we all agree that there is something wrong, i truly do not understand how they do not see it.

I mentioned the Volkswagen Design Vision GTI Concept, which was not a VGT (and came earlier), being confused with the VGTs (and vice versa).

Still no teasers so i suspect the update won’t drop until july 28th and proably get silhouttes on saturday or sunday,

For me at least the game starts to feel a bit empty, got on to my pc and bought assetto corsa on steam, and i can’t understand why i didin’t do it sooner, never liked assetto corsa on console, but on pc you can do anything with mods its endless, there is an insane amount cars avaialble tl download, will get content manager and car tuner, you can charge anything about the cars perfomence all from increase power adding turbos, change tyres grip, wider tyres, suspension, drivetrain swaps, adding gears make the car faster at switching gears, and even engine swaps, and make the car rev higher, its just insane how endless the mods are, sorry for the mess, well worth €20 i spent on the game,
Now just need to get some cars and tracks
The dragstrip is really good for testing cars perfomence and love the fact that you can choise whatever cars ai uses, that feature was also added to gt7 custom races witch was in fact a feature i have missed

There's even a Gran Turismo style mod in development for Assetto Corsa called Assettoo Corsa Evoluzione. It's still in alpha and has a long way to go but it's sounding quite promising considering what's planned for it.

Yes it is, on checking you are correct, it has recently gone into beta. You have to become a patreon to download the mod, I'm keeping a close eye for a few more features but I do intend to give it a go. Updates are coming pretty frequently.
