Probably won't be any new content, but would love to see the Corvette C8 and the LM GTE Pro version along with the new Vantage and GTE version for 24h of Le Mans. The 720 McClaren and Porsche GT2 RS would be nice also, hehe.
You missed out the Ferrari 488 and GTE.

First off no need to be snarky. Secondly, they’re very different games. But it’s cool you got your one game in.
I'd hazard a guess that iRacing would probably have the most in common with GT when it comes to server usage. On console Project Cars gets dropped like a hot potato soon after release so nothing is likely to happen there, and AC is like a ghost town with very little server traffic.

The more I examine GT6, GTSport, and now GT7, I am seeing the telltale signs of low manpower.

So, what to expect is likely going to be cars previously promised, or ones that were in GT6, but not GTS. Same for tracks.

Were there VGTs that didn't make it? Didn't Nike have a VGT?

Apricot Hill might make another comeback as it's a favourite. Another real world track would likely be something announced previously, but that hasn't appeared so far. Could be Silverstone, or Cote d'Azur.

1 game, which is literally all online. That’s it? You can’t really compare the two. Also iracing is much much older than GT7.
I’d think iRacing was the closest comparable game to GT Sport, or GT7’s Sport mode anyways. What other game has hourly lobbies full of drivers rest to go 24/7? They are the only two that you don’t have to race in custom lobbies and have a rating system aren’t they? ACC only has private lobbies I think.

The only VGT that hasnt appeared in GT7 that was in a past GT game is the Fittipaldi EF7 and the Mercedes AMG VGT Lewis Hamilton Edition (platinum reward from GTSport's Hamilton DLC trials)

As for manufacturers that had commitments from the project as early as GT6 there were a few more, such as Nike and Jordan, Tesla, GM Design, and Italdesign Guigiaro

Because we need new tracks and cars and be able to sell cars as well I don’t want to grind for months to come
What you want has no bearing on what's going to actually happen.

You just stated that tomorrow's update will have "new tracks" and seven new cars. As far as I can tell there's nothing on which to base this - and I distinctly recall twice telling you about stating things as fact when they aren't true and what would happen if you did it a third time...

ACC has a few different types. Some are run by Kunos. GT Sport tried to be iracing Lite which was cool but GT7 less so. It’s much more single player focused.

If they have a maintenance time on Sport mode I think that would be understandable and you would need the new patch to join in after too. But everything else should be run fine.

I think part for their their real reasoning is they’re pushing patches to stop exploits/bugs like Tokyo expressway. They don’t want people to beat the system.

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Gran Turismo 7’s Next Update Arrives on June 9

The next update for Gran Turismo 7 will be released on Thursday, June 9, 2022, according to an official announcement on Polyphony Digital’s website...
Are they ever going to address the ridiculous AI drivers so they stop running into when you are passing them? For one of the most advanced and expensive racing sims it's insane that the $30 SRX game can have better AI than any GT game ever has. This should have been addressed years ago.

I hope they deploy the Ruby AI sometime soon. Like mentioned before though, I feel like they are mostly going to address the force feedback issue. That seems to be the most urgent issue for them since it really messes a lot with the experience for wheel players.

Realistic prediction: Random bugfixes, a couple of VGT/million Cr racecars, maybe just maybe a track.

What I want: Tire and brake temp HUD, Fairlady SR311, El Capitan, Complex String, in game avatar of Buffy the Vampire Slayer as my navigator....

Enough is enough ,for a little over 3 months I’ve read post after post regarding more cars more more tracks more this ,more that .Like spoiled brats before Christmas.GT7 has some serious bugs that need to be addressed. That should be what PD should be focusing on .We need a stable platform to race on which is not the case right now .

Probably not. They likely pulled the check for avoiding collision in order to save cycles in exchange for the improved lighting and weather effects (just my observation) The best you can hope for is more chili pepper races.

Also, given there was no teaser for cars, we will probably get nothing but bug fixes.

I'm expecting a "bug-fix" to the WTC 600/700/800 payouts wherein they claim there was accidentally an extra zero added to the credit reward. 825k for a win + CRB at Sarthe? Nah, that was supposed to be 82.5k all along!

Also they're bringing inflation to the BC and UCD cars as well.

End of patch notes.
Given that the per-hour payouts for even the Gr.1 races are a fraction of the Meta WTC Four, I wouldn't be surprised.

The Gr.1 Race payouts are an absolute joke. Especially Saint-Croix. Literally no replayability whatsoever, and this is the highest category in Gran Turismo.

Which is why I have no faith in the 24 hour races that will eventually be updated into the game. I'm just so certain it's going to be payouts so unbalancingly(new word?) low that some people won't even get enough incentive to do them at all.
When it should be at least 24x that of the 1 hour races in the game if not more because you have to do these 24hr in one setting which is clearly pushing a lot more from you than doing 24 1 hour races whenever you want.

I'll be the first guy to create a thread here (if no one jumps me) and apologize to PD if they add a Gr.3 or higher category 24hr race that pays 24 million credits or more (without CRB).

More scapes. We need more scapes.

I predict/hope that there'll be a fix for those who had problems with their wheels. New cars or tracks... well, fits better on a wishlist thread 😉
i think its not the moment to bring new cars or tracks. First they should focus on having a stable game with all the basic features and then work on adding tracks and cars. Although its also true that there are teams in every videogame company and each one is in charge of doing their job so they might add a new car or track independently from the bug fixing and the missing features.

They will probably mess the whole 24 hour thing up, by adding tire, fuel & weather multipliers, instead of maybe getting 10-15 laps before fueling/tires maybe 24 pit-stops in a normal race instead will end up making 60 pit-stops without the option of game saves.
Thrown in torrential rain twice a hour.

Grand touristmode update prediction-

1. New scapes

2. "FFB on ps5 controller triggers nerfed

3. Transmission tuning now effects PP (again)

4. Fiat 500 motor available as roulette (lol)

5. Last "0" removed from all current "grind" races

-Way to go polyphunky-
