No new content. Same old economy system.
I have no reason to fire up this game.

Wonder what revisions to PP were made; read yesterday on GTP that entry requirements to some events would have their PP altered 🤔
Did the Gr.4 and Gr.3 events without BoP previously have any PP limit? Then this would have been changed.

As far as I can tell, PD and Kaz don't do anything about the game's core issues, e.g. lobbies. Instead, there are some scapes again, cars that nobody needs, background music, white pixels that should actually be black, no FFB fix, no selling cars. The main thing is that their own ego is asserted and strengthened. It's now just ridiculous and many simracers switch to ACC, iRacing and co. I'm only here for the livery editor now.
At this point I think GT7 is a vanity project for Mr Kaz.

At least that's what it sounds like, but I have to say that it's not worth the money and effort. GT-Sport is unfortunately much better, especially in multiplayer. GT-Sport also had problems at the beginning, but not as massively as GT7. I think it's a shame that most people in my area are going to ACC, leagues are being postponed or canceled because multiplayer isn't playable that way. It's actually a shame what they're doing. In every update more and more bugs which are then removed or weakened. But instead of making the game better, it just keeps getting worse. Of course, bugs are also removed from time to time, but that too seldom and, above all, new bugs are constantly being added.

So due to the Le Mans weekend they added the updated GR010, Glickenhaus and C8 as well as the Oreca LMP2 and fixed the pit stop issues at La Sarthe like the incorrect gas can refueling and tires always mixed up no matter what you put on. Also correct flags and penalties as well as the official pace car. To top it off they included the official pace car and a new 1000pp endurance event with yellow zones and pit radio as well as race director Eduardo Freitas commenting throughout. Qualifying sessions and free practice are back also.

Because PD is cool like that and they invest in the right things. NOT.
You mean like a passion for motorsport? I agree. I spent a couple of evenings this week completing circuit experience for the Circuit de la Sarthe managing a Gold for all sectors and the 1 lap attack; in order to feel closer to this weeks 90th running of 24 Heures du Mans.
Why can’t PD invest in tackling some classes so that we can have at least as close to real world experience with a total class grid of manufacturers?

I’d also include that whilst it was enjoyable for the most part despite the Fanatec/ Thrustmaster ffb issue; I have a DD Pro and concur that the feeling is better around cornering and across rumble strips, whilst dead numb on the straights, can’t invest the time with Fanatec/ Thrustmaster to make all said wheels fully compatible.

Finally and not something I read a lot about but Telemetry data. Partnered with Michelin, which just appears to be a sponsor; heading out on track after a pitstop, recovering after a spin or even at the start of the race, we are blind to tyre temps. Every other racing game (https://www.simhubdash.com/supported-games/) outputs data so that not only is it in game but also available to the likes of simhub for dash display.

What are the chances of pushing this as a want?

Lol I feed the birds in my garden more than PD gives to this game.

I genuinely think the game is too flawed for them to be taking weeks to hotfix game breaking issues (FFB, start procedure) and not delivering anything alongside it.

The community rightfully wants and needs more addressed than that. Maybe they could communicate? That's a good 2011 game development idea they could latch onto.

I get why people are whining, most of them are GT fans who got disappointed with the new title (overreacting massively, in my opinion, but it is what it is) and they don't want to move on because they want to actually like the game again. But yeah, there are just too much of it now in every possible thread it became annoying. I agree there are problems with this game but I just naturally want to keep defending it simply because I feel like that amount of hate is completely undeserved. And I wish there was a block button exclusively for millions of "PD are adding gas prices to push u to buy MTX ahahahah lol XD", especially considering the whole "PD are now greedy" thing is completely made up.
Thank you for this. I couldn't have said it any better.

Man for real. Been reading through these posts and there's so much bitching and whining - it's just sad. If it sucks sooo bad why even follow the damn title at all or play it, much less take the time to type about it? Someone mentioned something about fixing lobbies.. I run a lobby nightly that's usually no less than 12 to 14 drivers full. What's wrong with that? Maybe take a crack at creating your own racing sim 🤔, bring it to the fore for us to play and review. The lot of this world is an ungrateful stinkin' pile.
/rant
Thank you for this as well.
Funny thing to me is, there are several who right after launch were saying (with Heated Righteous Outrage), "I'm through with GT7 FOREVER, they RUUUUUIIINNNED IT, blah blah blah blah...."
.....but they're still here playing and complaining.

Some true HARDCORE gamers that lot is for sure.:D I fear to meet one in a dark alley. Especially if their Moms are with them.:scared:

Oh, and if your username means what I think it does, Maddens Raiders, Kenny Stabler was the MAN back in the day.

Not surprised this was only going to be slight improvements and bug fixes. The big updates are always at the end/near-end of the month as they have been for 3x already.
I supposed the predictions on this thread are for those.

They will probably mess the whole 24 hour thing up, by adding tire, fuel & weather multipliers, instead of maybe getting 10-15 laps before fueling/tires maybe 24 pit-stops in a normal race instead will end up making 60 pit-stops without the option of game saves.
Thrown in torrential rain twice a hour.

A long-ass 24hr race needing multipliers for ANYTHING would be the most ridiculous thing I would see in a racing game.

I actually have some faith that they won't touch that. The payouts however I am almost certain they are going to be way lower than they should.

So 3 fantasy VGT-cars were the reason for FFB-nerf, according to changelog?

Seriously, remove VGT please from the game.

Its called "real driving simulator" and not "fantasy car simulator".

These VGTs have brought nothing good for the game.

-They are the reason Gr.1 is screwed up...
-The reason for the main exploits in the game...
-Now as confirmed, the reason for steering wheel bugs...
-And they are also a huge part of the reason why you have so few real life cars (about 330 or so) as well since they had to focus resources on them rather than cars that most actually care and want to experience in the game because we can't IRL.

It's also funny that those 3 cars are pretty much the 3 most overpowered cars in the game as well.

Rival cars’ wheel colors now match those displayed on the thumbnails in Lightweight K-Cup

Some of the patchnotes are really uhm interesting🤣
I never knew or cared to know that there’s supposed to be an exact relationship between the cars shown in event thumbnails and the cars encountered in those events. It’s mentally painful to think PD has employees that actually go to work and spend their time on “fixing” crap like this.
