June update predictions

Prediction.

60 minutes of LeMans - Gr.1 but 700pp so you have to add 500kg of ballast and cut the power to 60% to race. This will be a mission too so you can only race it once, and after that it actually vanishes from the menu.

3 VGT cars that no one wants.

My actual (hope) prediction

Pikes Peak - all of it, not just a small section.

More events for every track in the game. More 30 minute and 60 minute races. More championships.

You beat me to it. The only thing I can be certain of after next update, alas, is endless complaints on this forum.
They will likely be very valid complaints too. I'd almost wager that they'd be the same complaints we've been hearing since launch because PD won't address any of the issues. Again.

Apricot Hill has a really good chance to be the very first track (not counting only layouts) to be added to GT7, of course due to the layout teases on the pre-launch trailers, so It might be coming later this month. As for the cars, I would predict, once again, a selection of three, with at least 2 being returning faces. I say that because last update was all about brand new cars to the series, so next time PD should balance that, at least for 2/3. Makes sense to me combining a classic track with returning cars.

Following the "well appreciated and most needed" price change for the LCD cars, because obviously rl inflation should matter for the virtual cars in the game, June's update will bring in exciting changes to the Brand Central.

Due to the global chip shortage, inflation, and other various events affecting the supply chains and world, instead of just buying a new car at Brand Central you may place in order for one and wait a few months until it finally arrives.
Additionally, the UCD's choice of cars has been expanded, because PD understands that not everyone wants to wait for months, however due to the demand and inflation (again), prices has been adjusted up to 500% and certain models come with several broken parts that might need to get replaced with the new ones.

That aside, I think we'll get another 3 more boring cars like the last month's ones, more e-sports stuff vast majority of the playerbase don't care about, and a few more one-and-done events with terrible payouts.

OK, official ID’s of GT7 cars where datamined. These have been double checked by other sources and are genuine.

Cars include the Porsche 918, Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak, Bugatti Chiron & Renault R5 Turbo Group B. I’m sure other sites will post the details given the channel in question (reporting, not the source) is banned.

Details of a US track (new to the series) and more have been dug up. But no timelines.

Full list of what's been dug up?

Don't forget that Road Atlanta was in GTS code and we never got that.

  • BMW M2 ‘18
  • Bugatti Chiron ‘16
  • Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR ‘06
  • Pontiac GTO “The Judge” ‘69
  • Porsche 918 Spyder ‘13
  • Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car ‘85
  • Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak ‘98

The US track isn’t just random code but content ready to be released. There’s other track data discovered too. But that does fall into the (potentially) random code.

I hope whatever it is, is somehow exciting. Because if F1-22 is solid, that's gonna eat into my gt7 time. Honestly that bums me out because I love gt and I should have my full interest held longer than just a few months

It's either going to be:
Pikes Peak
Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak '98
Tesla Model 3 Time Attack '22
Peugeot 208 T16 '15

Or

Road Atlanta
Ferrari SF-90 '19
Bugatti Chiron '18
Renault Megane RS '19

Or
No new track
A Japanese sports car
A "modern" car that's at least 5 years old
A GT Award winner

I can only hope for bigger update for june, their was cars like Suzuki escudo pikes peak, Bugatti Chiron, Porsche 918 spyder in car codes from gt7, hope its true, but even if so we don’t know when it will arrive,
I expect a new track, more cafe menu books and 5 cars at maximum, hopefully one is Lexus lfa, bmw m5 e60, Porsche 912 gt2 rs or Mitsubishi lancer evolution lx

If I was PD, I'd focus on getting a SIGNIFICANT Quality of Life update out.

  • Menu overhaul
  • Lobby overhaul
  • Ability to sell cars
  • Proper cam view settings (FoV, orientation, height etc)...seriously, check out Assetto Corsa Competizione
  • HUD revamp, with ability to customise layout and mapping
  • Sort out the FFB issues fgs, absolutely unforgivable thing to do...and to call it intentional is insulting.

After this, I would wait and release batches of "1 new track, 20 new cars" every few months. With some new Grs for online races to keep it exciting.

Basically, the main reason why this leak seems sus to me is because it sounds too good to be true.
And, to be honest, if you look at each car separately, it doesn't seem the unlikely. M2 is kinda random and out of nowhere, but happens in updates often, same with Chiron; Evo IX was a premium in GT6 and it's a very popular japanese car (though I find it insane if they actually gonna add my favourite car right after I ordered my PS5); GTO fits typical "random muscle car" pattern of updates; 918 feels like a long overdue, considering current PD-Porsche relationships; Renault, I believe, is not much different from already existing car in the game, but rally version; and Escudo is a legendary GT car, and Suzuki VGT was just added, and one of promo pics of Suzuki VGT features a Pikes Peak scape, which is not in game yet. But all those cars in one update? Really sounds like someone's wishlist. And I've yet to see any actual proofs of those cars being in the data.

UPD: actually, I can see how it can be real. If we get Escudo for free and everything else as a paid DLC, then it would be easily believable.

After 2 'lost' updates i will not stand any 'low' or 'slim' one.... So i have no predictions... PD and Kaz are so unexpected... :banghead: :dunce:

Four cars - because even PD may begin to realize that three cars are a little too few. I do not dare to say whether there’ll be a new circuit or not. Overdue though!

Keep expectations low, PD it’s so behind schedule that they are mainly fixing bugs (many of which they create with every update) for every fix they add 2 new bugs.
It’s gonna take time to really see a Concistent growth in content, in the mean time it’s what it is.
Don’t have any sense to compare GTS updates to predict what update will be in GT7.
No matter where you look in the game, it’s full of errors, bugs, or incomplete development.
New cars and tracks will be drop at a low rate because the game is far from stable and ready. They will drop 2 or 3 random cars every update to keep the fury low, but as I say it will take time.

it'll be 3 cars and probably a new track/layout. 3-5 circuit events, possibly one will pay the 1.6m/h rate. they will make further PP calculation adjustments, change BOP slightly. there is a very slight chance we will see radical innovations like "MR cars work on BOP settings" or "the FFB on their own wheel is corrected"... but i wouldn't bet on it. the may update reflected just about no additional testing or work.

a couple years ago, i picked up NBA2k21, because i enjoyed those games growing up. i was shocked by what people explained to me is 'modern gaming'. just about everything 2K does to maximize in-game transactions is being employed here. the 'new' content exists at the beginning of the cycle, and its slowly released. 'updates' that attempt to address gameplay issues are disastrous or completely underwhelming, amounting to either turning something off or on... but never adjusting anything. the intentional tedium of increasing ability, as to make microtransactions the smarter option. i got out of that mess pretty quickly when i realized what it was, but i occasionally check in on those forums to see if they've 'woken up' yet. it seems that, in a year, they further stripped down anything resembling 'free' offline play and still have not fixed major in-game glitches that have existed since 2016 or earlier. in my mind, the polyphony people will close down lobbies before they will fix them. 2K would immediately patch any “bug” where micro transactions could be circumvented… I’m shocked the GT7 script still works to be honest.

i've just decided to accept the game for what it is, and enjoy it when i feel like it. adding 100 hours of offline play would completely defeat their 'live service revenue' model. there will be some weeks where sport mode is fun, but i think its time to shelve any hopes of them suddenly adding a classic GT career mode / a substantial amount of free content. i'm just hoping that maybe, some day, we can use brake balance in a sport race.

Prediction:

Night time also added to the standard layout of Spa, couple billboards updated to reflect RL changes.
PP calculations messed up further
Couple new cars added but you can only get them by random invitation
Ability added to purchase invitations with MTX only

Maybe this time I can be pleasantly surprised by being completely wrong (I hope, wish)
