MY SMALL OPINNION
since PD " IF THEY SAW, AND IF THEY CARE ABOUT " many negative responces from PROs and average player....maybe they will need to rethink what to do...and maybe pass june update, maybe even july, and then get something really BIG and SPECIAL at august...TO RESTART
GAME is falling apart and may die...
( THEY SHOULD BE THE ONES TO OPEN UP POCKETS, NOT PEOPLE )
WHAT DID WE REALLY GET WITH THOSE TWO UPDATES: 1 GREAT CAR...WHICH I PLAYED WITH FOR COUPLE OF HOURS...
REALITY IS...GT SPORT COULD GET 1 30 GB UPDATE, AND IT WOULD BE GT7 😅

I think there'll be drastic BoP changes. Setup on some cars do not make any sense.

was deflating to try out the MR cars before and after the update, to see literally no difference in performance.

they’ve got problems that require testing, not data collection. finishing up golds on circuit experience has been shocking - even the FR cars they have now balanced on BOP are a mess. not to mention on Sport they silently removed emergency brake overnight, and haven’t figured out how to enable brake balance (because they made it a paid tuning part). I mean, if I adjust the top speed of the car now, it won’t update its acceleration splits. they’ll keep lopping off parts of the game because they won’t / can’t test every car and wheel.

It’s pretty shocking, all around. The apology and message were absolutely hollow… They even went dark again on Twitter, 10 days without a post now. might be a record.

I wonder how they are prioritising the updates contents? Im guessing with the server data they can do a very optimal triage of fixing things in the right order. I guess along with that is the duration of testing fixes / content before implementation after the March debacle they will be a bit tentative now. All I would say at this point is let's try to be patient, and be thankful for what we do get. Im pretending GT7 isn't out until xmas, and hopefully by then I can jump back in with a few weeks worth of new stuff to do for when the nights close in.

Instead of fixing problems they just remove that facet of the game completely.

20 cars is unstable so remove 20 car option to 16.
Handbrake exploit in sport mode - remove handbrake.
FFB doesn’t work for one car - remove FFB for all cars
Can‘t run ps5 with ps4 together in Sport mode - keep them separate
Penalty system giving out unfair penalties - effectively turn off penalties altogether

There‘s probably more. Makes me scared to think what they’ll remove on the next update, rather than what they’ll fix.

Hoping that as June is LeMans Month we will get a full on GR1 Championship or at least a proper GR1 Event for LeMans

Yer I know some hope lol a bit like hoping all the VGT Cars are recalissified as GRX or something else so we can have proper endurance events with proper cars .

Although he did tweet this after PD broke the FFB
Yes, I'm aware he tweeted that already. Like I said...

Well, give it time. I'm sure all the esports stars and him will be back on it whenever they fix the FFB issues. Hopefully not too long.

Anyway, on-topic. Based on the Nations Cup schedule, I'm betting that there's a new track this month. Either that, or just another unannounced car used for that round instead... shrug

The chicane from the Daytona Road Course has been temporarily removed from the game due to some players unfairly bypassing it and gaining an advantage, this helps create a more pleasant experience whilst driving on this layout. :mischievous:

Correct, and it continues

Best laps not recorded properly? Remove that feature
Issues switching tracks in lobbies? Kill it.
Can we charge money for brake balance? Do it!

Pandemic notwithstanding, I am not seeing where the supposed 300 people are being utilized.

This last update has a car that was promised a full eight years ago, and likely made eight years ago. Who knows when the Suzuki was made.

I don't think it's so much that they want it but that we know they've had the exclusive license since 2017, so nobody else can use it. If they've got the license, we might as well want them to make use of it so people can drive on it somewhere.

Besides, whilst in real life it's far too dangerous for proper racing I think you could easily do it in game, the roads are wide enough for at least 6-10 cars. Hopefully if/when PD add it they do include that option but even if they don't, it would be something totally fresh and new to the series, discounting that small portion in GT2. I'd look forward to driving a bunch of cars up and down the course, instead of some meandering races on the same old tracks yet again.

Oh and you don't think PD would place a completely out of place car in a racing group? Where have you been the last few years?
Imagine online lobby Go-Kart sprint races up Pikes Peak. Sounds pretty fun to me.,

The TBD track for August would need to be released in the June or July update. The rest of the schedule also points to this being a real world track.

Road Atlanta would fit the bill to that, but only because its a real world track and used for Sports Car racing. It was one of the datamined tracks from GT Sport.

Only new real world tracks, with August events, are: Sugo(GT Asia), Road America(GT World Challenge, Weathertech Sports Cars), Sadown( Supercars), Lausitzring(ADAC GT Masters), Snetterton & Thruxton(BTCC), Sliverstone( classic race).

My prediction is that they will put all effort toward blocking the ability to farm credits. There will probably be a payout "adjustment" to the Panamerican Championship.
And they're probably going to make sure that we don't get all the cars we want.

Out of the cars here, I'm not sure what an "Eagle Type 122 '09" is.

eagle_type122_09 is the internal name for the Lotus Evora '09.

Yeah alright, that removes any credibility from previous leak, and there wasn't a lot to begin with. If all this is actually in the game files then it's nothing more than another bunch of those lines which end up never appearing in the game. Wouldn't be surprised if June update will have none of those.

I think there'll be drastic BoP changes. Setup on some cars do not make any sense.
I agree and they need to start letting us choose the tires we want. I seem to do better with soft tires compared to medium/hard. Makes the car more quick and stable on the track.

Discussed here, with a disclaimer regarding this data:

If there was ever a time to add Pikes Peak, it'd be this June, to miss the 100th running would be folly.
I really have no idea what to predict, surely not another 3-pack of cars? After GT Sport's first 3-car update, the next four months brought 11, 10, 12 and 13 cars alongside alternating new layouts and new locations, the optimistic side of me would say we're due for a similar pattern to begin about now.

I also predict bugfixes and, if they care, more events.

The option to load a ghost (unless I'm really blind and just haven't found it), and various other Time Trial improvements, mostly the ability to set the time and weather with at least as much control as GT6, and the return of the Data Logger, are what I'm hoping for most of all, but absolutely, definitely not expecting this month, maybe November.
