June update predictions

I'd say we won't have much more than 3 cars per month. GT Sport was very weak on basic content (cars/tracks) from launch, so they were making up for this, that's why we had 10+ cars updates for a lot of months. GT7 has other stuff to fix. Last update shows current focus very well, it was basically 3 "have to be added" cars (SEMA, VGT, Toyota Cup) and then there was a loooong list of other fixes/updates.

I would like to see

-1 new track

-1 Dynamic weather and time add to one track we all ready have like For example Brazil or Daytona

-bring back the super soft tire

- Some Gr3 cars are due for a update not only for Bop but Evo package like nsx, lambo and Ferrari, You could also make the Evo package Option from GT auto

Daytona road already has dynamic time.

The people who model cars, are not the same who fix bugs. Unless, of course, there is a bug related to cars themselves, like a texture not working properly, or wheels glitching or whatever. Fixing bugs and adding content is possible at the same time.

I know, and it's not what I meant. I wasn't saying "they can't add more cars because they have to fix bugs" (though, those cars still have to be added to the game, it's not all just modelling). They just don't have to add 10+ cars every month now, so instead they can hold it to support the game longer, or build up content for the next game, or maybe to sell those cars as DLC later.

If players want to race their new cars against other players or friends then they will encounter game breaking obstacles.
So those who stick to singleplayer cannot have new cars to enjoy because multiplayer has issues? That’s like saying no one is allowed to have fun because some don’t. Come on. Like I said, content development and bug fixing of game modes are two separate things with no bearing on each other.

If there was ever a time to add Pikes Peak, it'd be this June, to miss the 100th running would be folly.
While it would be cool to coincide with the 100th running. It’s good enough to be out in the same year.

I can’t remember much about Pikes Peak in the old Gran Turismo’s. But being all paved switches up the possibilities in terms of game modes. The obvious one’s being Touge and drifting.

It could really be a whole game mode in it’s own right.

Think of fishermans ranch but instead of being a circuit, you start in the bottom of a mountain and end on the top of it

Yeah, but it was like an interpretation of Pikes Peak and under 2 minutes. The real thing, even when paved, is nearer 8m-10m for the quickest cars.

I imagine if PD do bring it back it will be an accurate laser scanned version.

Google says pikes peak hill climb has a lenght of almost 20km or 12,42 miles. Dunno if PD would put a rally course as big as that in the game. I would bet more on a remake of the gt2 track but bigger. But you never know. I hope they put the real thing in the game

Of course they will. In 2022 it would be absurd to include anything but the full course. GT2 only included a small chunk of it because of PS1 limitations.

It's all tarmac now so it's suitable for all cars, not just dirt cars.

Lets hope so

Looks as though they took the story down. There appears to be no trace of a June 9th update when I searched.
