Kazunori says GT5 Will come out soon after GTM

I'm betting on a 11th December 2009 release.

It does say that, in the interview if you look back at it btw ;)

Then, thus enjoy these stereotypes of the mode “Garage”, while waiting to see some and of more on one of the plays headlight of Sony in this end of the year, because as “the mole calculates it”, one waits to be able to put the hand above from here at next December 11, with inevitably, a pack which is well.

I thought it would be 11th Dec even before this interview took place... and now it's been mentioned here... I have very little doubts.

December seems right for sure, especially since Sony will want ps3 slims (i know its just ps3) into homes with gt5 for christmas.

Id be willing to bet a large amount of money that this game will launch before the year is out

I'm 100% sure he's talking about Xmas release. This time he said " Short time " not " soon " and we all know that "soon" to KY is months to us. He would only unveil important every GT info when the game is really set to be released very very soon.
Short time after GT PSP is one month.

i.e. TGS is the reveal all.....accompanied by release date with fireworks!! WOO

i think soon is 2 months or so making it december time, what im intrested in will it be a worldwide release?:) or will it be like prolouge:(

3.20 : Les dégâts ont déjà des répercutions sur le pilotage mais attention cela ne devrait pas affecter tous les véhicules présents dans le jeu final.

The damages have effects on the handling but they will not be available on every cars in the game.

yamauchi's video interview translated in France

@2:42 "We do as much as we can to get GT5 released ASAP..."
@2:47: "...but we have our priorities and GT must first come out on PSP on October 1st."
@2:53: "The only thing I can tell you today is..."
@2:57: "...that GT5 should be released shortly after this deadline."

voilà :)

I think he means "latest", KY has already mentioned GT6 is another interview not all that long ago so I doubt he means GT5 is last.

Ok well then cool. I can't wait for all the compliants on that one when it shows up too :D, I kid, not everyone complains.

Maybe, just maybe that means internal damage isn't in every car but visible damage is still there..

I reckon you're right. Damage is a given in WRC and NASCAR, but I doubt many road car races will get any. There might be damage on other race cars from different series but I can't see that happening too much.

KY in that video: "The codes of the game presented at gamescom show the very first stage of what we try to do with damages! You can see that several damages appear on the body of the car, but that would interest us to know what kind of damages the players want to see" [arcade/pretty realist/realist damages?].
"Damages already affect handling but be careful it won't affect every car in the final game".

this is what i've told yesterday in another topic...
"for me PD is smart, they show us something not complete to see and hear what the crowd could tell about it... they will take the conseguence at all.."

If it weren't for all the marketing wizardry that goes before a title like this hits the stores, I'd say Mr Yamauchi is preparing a surprise... I have the feeling we've never been this near to a GT realease date without an actual date.

I'm sure we'll all have our PS3s busy with GT5 this Christmas.

it dose help them to get a game out wihout the inevitable DELAY though.

Is all this about the jackpot etc. about GTM or GT5?

It's from GTPSP. It's a race where there is a random "Jackpot" purse amount and the winner is given this at the end of the race. In some Jackpot races, one of the racers may be awarded a lucky bonus and get a larger amount of prize money based on the random amount of the lucky bonus [maybe like a slot machine].

It actually sounds like fun!

Ummm, where have you been?
Ummm, at the movies. And you?

You know, there has been much speculation about GT5 to only have 20 tracks, but if GT PSP has 35 I can not imagine GT5 will only have around 20. Know what I'm saying?
