Love all of this....

But i need some more Porsches!!

I have the feeling they're keeping all the meat for later in the year, paid or not. To be fair as long as I really like all this content, All these cars should have been in game from day 1.

We really should get more new to the series cars from next dlcs after March. I think that's why they said there going to be 50 cars in updates. Or I could be wrong and maybe they keep the trend of mix new and updated cars.

Around 500 cars in total will be at the end of the game's life. So we still have a lot to hope from the game in terms of new additions and variety. Since they like to add a lot of japanese legendary cars first, think about all the european and american brands that could be added as De Tomaso was. I think the era of 30 different skylines is over, we'll see more like 10 now :-P

Technically the GT-R isn’t a skyline. It’s of the same heritage but isn’t actually a skyline. I know the world calls it so but it’s a bit like the whole hoover and jacuzzi thing.
This is the skyline successor to the R34

Your correct a GTR now is not a Skyline but a Skyline is a GTR. Says so right on the back of the car. Your just trying to get all technical on me 👍.
I really like all the GTR's there is absolutely nothing wrong with them and they are fun to drive. I know they are all different and I don't have a problem with them being in the game.

However I'm not happy that currently every Nissan in this game is a GTR when there are many more great cars from Nissan that should or could be added. Just want some more variety something RWD and not AWD from them.

Soooo... does this mean we are actually gonna get the other cars from suggestion forum?

No.

After the R34 Skyline, the models diverged. With the R34, Skyline was the model and GT-R was a specification of that model. After that, the Skyline (V35, V36, V37) and GT-R (R35) were different models, on different platforms. The Skyline platform is now much more closely related to the Z (350Z, 370Z) than the GT-R, and is shared with the Infiniti Q50/Q60 (previously the G35, G37 and M).

You can no longer buy a Skyline GT-R. You can buy a Skyline, or you can buy a GT-R.

That has nothing to do with this roadcar though.
when you think of the hundreds of cars that could be in a GT Sport game, one-off sema cars are pretty low on my list of things i want to drive. Maybe you want to drive untested one-offs in some made-up category, to you, maybe that's fun. To me, and to what this game was supposed to be, it's a waste of resources. It's my opinion. Sure, it's a cool car, neat car to build and all that. In an "e-sports" racing game, it's a waste of resources. Bring me a porsche 917, mclaren M8A, Lotus 23B, a Maserati Tipo 60/61, etc. etc. etc. ...or, some **** sema car that will never touch a race track in real life...

Now it all comes around to the waste of resources of an argument of what cars go in a game and what cars don't because I say so. Whatever you say, I've seen this 80 times before.

BMW E30? wow, my favorit car in assetto corsa :) I hope its street version not the dtm thing:)

It appears to have conventional wing mirrors, rather than the aero mirrors fitted to the DTM cars, so I'm reasonably confident it's simply the road car. Not sure which variant of the road car it is though.

maybe you should start listening. If you've seen it 80 times and you still don't get it...the issue might not be the 80 other people...

oh good, more GTR's, i felt they were so underrepresented already... /sarcasm

I mean, FWIW, there are some neat GT-Rs that could be represented. It's just a matter of moderation, and not having models that are almost exactly the same except for the model year. For example, for the R33 alone, I'd just include the GT-R, the homologation GT1 special, the actual GT1 race car, maybe some Nismo-tuned versions like the 400R, and the commemorative LM car. Heck, maybe even one of the non-GT-R versions that has RWD instead of 4WD. It really depends on whether a game can make variants feel/look different enough to warrant their inclusion.

Why am I any more wrong than you about what I like or don't like? I'm just not as concerned with the concept of racing game developers having to put in the car I specifically want (in this case, the Lexus LFA) or I shun whatever work they actually do, and for free no less.

you asked questions, i answered them. Don't get upset if you don't like the answers.
