Instead, PD decided to implement it in a way that works as hard as possible to rip you off; and has already screwed many people out of their money. This really sucks. I have a U.S PS3 and U.S Account as my main account, but a European copy of GT5. This DLC system is messed up. Other DLCs no matter from which account I get them they will always work on my main account, even DLC from my Japanese account works on my American main account. How come PD does this? so now I have to wait until the 25th? a whole week after all the waiting and looking forward to today.

None of them pull anything to this extent. That's a fact.

I'm not saying, that you should acquiesce with GT5. Sure, it had/have a lot of mistakes and sure isn't the best game, but I mean why should you really argue about something, that is normal for the gaming industry.

Because it isn't normal for the gaming industry, PD (and the PD defense force) spent a year saying they were above this sort of thing, and pulling 🤬 like this makes it clear that no one in the entire company has a fully functioning brain among them, so the game is never going to get better in this regard.

Besides that: All of you would argue about if PD would not have released a DLC.

No. Not really. This DLC pack is the one thing more than anything else that proves PD's incompetence as a modern developer. I was willing to overlook every other stupid niggle with the game because I enjoyed it in spite of them, but with this I've had it. And I know I'm not the only one for which this is the breaking point.

Just because it has 15 Cars that actually just have a racing modification?
C'mon.... I mean I understand, that you've expected much more from this and from the game.

But again, no one is forced to buy this. And if you "had it" with the game why not looking for an alternative? There sure are plenty.

But, just in case you wanna know, Forza Motorsport 4 is much more worse than GT5. FM4 is actually just a big addon to FM3 and therefore to FM2.

Unbelievable. Never have I thought defending PD would go this far. Now I have truly seen it all. PD can keep releasing this kind of garbage again and again as long as people have this kind of attitude.

I accept others opinions, and I fully understand those.

I have two PS3's and two TV's for this reason. We did share till last Christmas when we got the second PS3. After GT5 came out and our gaming time tripled. I started league racing. So my kids have a sub account on my other PS3.


It doesn't make sense to allow the previous cars to be used on sub accounts but not current DLC.

No biggie really. However it's 12 more dollars spent on by me on the same thing I will have bought two minutes before. That is just baffling.

Let me pay you twice for the same thing. So a sub account can use it on my PS3.

Many people I know have sub accounts for friends to use. Not everyone likes friends racing on their account. Some of my friends would tarnish my good name as a clean racer. This just a bunch crap in my book.

I will complain. I will pay. I hope I can sit down when PD and PSN get done reaming me for 24 dollars. Thanks guys.

Thats right big families are &%$&%$, and in my case I have two users - one with an online account and another with no account just to replay finished games offline... I was 18 hours into 24h le mans... back the game save... bought the DLC to try on my offline account and nothing... now Im too affraid to restore the game save and loose the DLC... either way I loose - 18h or DLC

This DLC for big families is the most expensive unworthy DLC I ever saw

Yes, sadly it's true.

They should have shipped out valerian pills with the fake "DLC" pack. I bet the Sony customer service crew now would also be happy about some valerian pills, they will get hater eMails & calls like hell.

Once you use them up, you cannot simply redownload them like you do with all of the other DLC for the game. You must rebuy them with actual real life money. This includes the one-time use paints, which is basically a 🤬 slap in the face considering how terrible the paint chip system already was; particularly considering all of the content was included in the Spec II update and the DLC is nothing more than unlock codes.

The DLC is account and region locked, even though PD knows full well that multiple user accounts are common among GT5 players; but PD didn't even bother to mention this fact until a good while after the DLC was released, meaning a bunch of people have already been screwed out of their money.





Nothing about the way this DLC has been handled has done anything but paint PD as almost comically stupid and/or comically greedy, and it seems to be more the latter than the former.

And if you "had it" with the game why not looking for an alternative? There sure are plenty.

Don't worry. My belief in PD's ability to do anything right has finally been shaken enough that I am doing exactly that.

Please somebody inform Yamuchi lot of users around the world are having problem with the single PSN id limitation and the particular version of the game they are using "the strange mix".

I think he is neither... he is just a troll that never played Forza, doesnt have brothers or has is own PS3 or doesnt understand the meaning of the word share and the value of money. One thing to keep in mind, PD is the developer. They create and design the game. Sony is the publisher, they control all the marketing, and likely all the decisions regarding DLC. While PD and Sony share a very close relationship, for a number of reasons, having DLC locked per account is likely something beyond PD's control. It's Sony's decision. No doubt such an unpopular decision will quickly filter through Kazunori to Sony, but it's likely far beyond Kazunori's ability to do anything about it.

Unfortunately, complaining to Sony is likely to be futile.
