Nice language.
You are opening the door to be argued with. Oh the irony.

Get the hell out of here with that nonsense. Nothing was stopping PD from releasing the DLC in a sane, fair way like nearly every other developer in the industry does. But what you guys should really stop is to hail all these negativaties and conspiracies on this game. Take it or leave it, simple as that. Nobody forces you to spend 11,99 on that.
God damn, you guys can be happy, that they even drop a DLC. It's just depressing, that they work on something to make the community happy, and even then there some fools who think the can argue about that.
That's just plain bs.
Instead, PD decided to implement it in a way that works as hard as possible to rip you off; and has already screwed many people out of their money. There is nothing to be happy about the way this has been implemented, and you are the fool if you think people should be happy about it just because it exists.
Wait so unlike the Chromeline and Stealth car, which can be used on any account if you have the main account on the PS3.
This made sense to me. For I hate to buy two DLC pack for the kids and myself.
If this is what I'm reading. My blood pressure is rising over this thought.
None of them pull anything to this extent. That's a fact.Rip me off
Than I'm going to play Need For Speed and Forza Motorsport from now on.
Oh no wait. I'm getting ripped of there as well. What a pity
Because it isn't normal for the gaming industry, PD (and the PD defense force) spent a year saying they were above this sort of thing, and pulling 🤬 like this makes it clear that no one in the entire company has a fully functioning brain among them, so the game is never going to get better in this regard.I'm not saying, that you should acquiesce with GT5. Sure, it had/have a lot of mistakes and sure isn't the best game, but I mean why should you really argue about something, that is normal for the gaming industry.
No. Not really. This DLC pack is the one thing more than anything else that proves PD's incompetence as a modern developer. I was willing to overlook every other stupid niggle with the game because I enjoyed it in spite of them, but with this I've had it. And I know I'm not the only one for which this is the breaking point.Besides that: All of you would argue about if PD would not have released a DLC.
Isn't something disturbing.
Actually quite "normal"

Unbelievable. Never have I thought defending PD would go this far. Now I have truly seen it all. PD can keep releasing this kind of garbage again and again as long as people have this kind of attitude.
mykemWhy can't your kids (and grandkids and their grandkids) play on your account? It's just a game, or is it? Besides, sharing is always good.

You get one of each item, including the cars, despite there being perfectly 2 functional systems in the game that would make it so they fit in with the rest of the content.Than tell me exactly what YOU don't like about this DLC or game?
Don't worry. My belief in PD's ability to do anything right has finally been shaken enough that I am doing exactly that. And if you "had it" with the game why not looking for an alternative? There sure are plenty.
This is absurd logic, and for someone who "isn't defending PD" to even say something so ridiculous with a straight face makes you either a liar or a hypocrite. But, just in case you wanna know, Forza Motorsport 4 is much more worse than GT5. FM4 is actually just a big addon to FM3 and therefore to FM2.

Once you use them up, you cannot simply redownload them like you do with all of the other DLC for the game. You must rebuy them with actual real life money. This includes the one-time use paints, which is basically a 🤬 slap in the face considering how terrible the paint chip system already was.
The DLC is account and region locked, which is ridiculous by itself considering all of the content was included in the Spec II update and PD knows full well that multiple user accounts are common among GT5 players; but PD didn't even bother to mention this fact until a good while after the DLC was released, meaning a bunch of people have already been screwed out of their money.
Nothing about the way this DLC has been handled has done anything but paint PD as almost comically stupid and/or comically greedy, and it seems to be more the latter than the former.

jacnobAt least due to this, there won't be a gazillion people sharing with there friend's second cousin's brother's best friend. It actually was probably why they did that in the first place.
Yup, considering Kaz's twitter account is basically the only way that PD lets anyone know about anything.Seriously any of this bickering have anything to do with Kaz's tweeter account?
All of this will reported.
That could work, but the way things have been, its not likely.Ip restriction or make people register PS3's. Anything besides screwing honest parents that have shell out multiple times for same content. Content that legally belongs to the parent and not the sub accounts said parents children use.
Obviously like many. I am very frustrated.
Also people may not ve aware. But only 4 ps3's can be registered to an account. So if you own one and shared with three. You kinda screw yourself later in life if you get two of them.
Prefer they implement some sorta registration process allowing hard working honest customers to continue using DLC as before.
One thing to keep in mind, PD is the developer. They create and design the game. Sony is the publisher, they control all the marketing, and likely all the decisions regarding DLC. While PD and Sony share a very close relationship, for a number of reasons, having DLC locked per account is likely something beyond PD's control. It's Sony's decision. No doubt such an unpopular decision will quickly filter through Kazunori to Sony, but it's likely far beyond Kazunori's ability to do anything about it.
Unfortunately, complaining to Sony is likely to be futile.
MÜLE_9242Congrats. Somebody gets it.
Toronado, sorry, but you look like an idiot blaming the wrong group, grasping at straws with the rolleyes smilie.
Oh yes. It's Sonys fault too for the mess GT5 shipped with.
What are PD actually responsible for anyway?
