Does this explain the long load times and crashes some of us have seen lately? I'm unsure exactly what it means. My Chinglish is great but my other cross-language abilities are dwindling....

I think he's trying to explain the long load times. It seems that it may be PSN related issues (just like the DLC issue, IMO).

But you can paint it.

Of course, the unique "Burnt Titanium" parts will stay in the original shade, but all other chassis parts can be painted.

You can repaint it. The "titanium style" parts/decals will stay.

You can't add a LSD to the car. But that will be fixed with the next patch.


Btw. I've fully tuned the car but the engine tune stage 3 will only show up in my tuning profile 1, not in tuning profile 2 & 3 (there it shows me stage 1 & less power).

Am I the only one with this bug?

Like the ZR1 RM, only the front 1/3 of the car can be painted. Would be nice to have an option with cars like this to paint the whole thing or do a two-tone.

The Viper ACR, when you paint it, the striping is lost. I'd like to be able to paint that as nice contrasting color/colour.

I'll take more classic Ferrari F1's then. I don't think people would complain with that. I'd pay a ton of DLC bucks for more classic race cars (F1, other open wheel)

I personally don't understand why people want to pay to get historical F1 cars that either were torn apart for scrap or are now in a museum, why not PD let us create our own F1 series:

GTF1 Series:

We would get to choose between:
Five body styles
Eight engines with the ability to turbocharge them
And we would get to create our own livery

And of course we could tune the cars transmissions and suspensions with the tuning parts we have now. I just see this as a more viable way to get current-ish F1 into GT5 without having to get around that big licensing barrier.

And please don't give me crap, this is just my opinion.

We have Karts and F1 cars already which are the first and last steps of open wheel racing,what I would like to see is more of the middle steps, like Formula Renault,BMW,GP2 etc.

No, it's normally between 1-3pm EST.

Right, that's when the store typically updates. Sometimes later, MUCH later like 10pm or after midnight even! The powers that be are able to update the store whenever they feel like it. E3 ring a bell?

Unfortunately, PD isn't pushing this through the game to purchase outside of accessing the store.

I'm sure it's Downloadable Game Add-Ons. The DLC came with Spec 2. I had to think about it.

Either way, it's GT5 we're talking about here. It'll probably be displayed on the main screen of the PS Store. Or, the What's New? information "thing".
