Kaz has tweeted again.

We will be doing an October GT5 update in North America and Europe, planned for Oct. 27th. This will consist of:

So far it's a cliffhanger.

"We will be doing an October GT5 update in North America and Europe, planned for Oct. 27th. This will consist of:"

...

"1. Kart Space I/II of the DLC will become drivable with cars other than Karts in the online lounge and free run of Practice"

...

"2. Expanded restriction options for cars in the online lounge"

"[Car Restrictions], [Performance Points], [Power], and [Car Model] regulations will be possible to set simultaneously."

....

"3. Fix for issues in: Setting sheets, G25/27, resuming from pits in endurance races, TC car numbers and LSD settings, etc."

...

"Many more minor adjustments have been made, but something like this."

Looks like that's it.

PD Team brains and hands are on steroids... All this stuff in the same month, and now, moar update...

DATS AWEZUM!

I find it strange that it only mentions North America and Europe.

Car Model regulations? I hope that means for restricting certain cars and not just One-make online races.

Either way, CARS ON KART SPACE! Yayyyyyy.

edit

Car Restrictions. Never mind what I said before. This is going to make a lot of people very happy.

Wow looks like we'll be getting more of what we asked for. Way to go PD!

I am interested to know what the other 'minor adjustments' will be.

Flexible HUD settings. I totally see this happening.

That would be awesome. I prefer to drive the in-car view on premiums with no HUD, but I would really like to have the tire temp/wear indicator visible and none of the rest of it. They really are stepping up to the plate this fall.

Ok I just thought of a new race series. 2 class racing on kart space, with the first class being X2011s, and the second being Midget IIs. Whos with me?

PD would have announced or mentioned it if they were going to do it, it's too big of a change to not mention and a build a little hype along the way.
That's true. 👍

Maybe if we cross our fingers? If it comes, I will faint. It seems so simple to do, but we all want this so very badly.

I really hope they fix the glitch when you drive your cars in arcade mode they get miles on them. I'm afraid to check any of the new TCs because of this. :nervous:

can somebody tweet kaz on his tweeter so he can patch that so we can be able to have selective hud i would like to be able to keep instruments on and everything else off
tire wear, fuel gauge , tack and speedometer on and everything else off

can we please do a massive request on his tweeter account

From what I've seen, this seems to only happen when you are actually in the car. I tested out the New NASCAR COTS when they first came out in Arcade mode and none of them have miles on them.

I don't want to put miles on the X2011 because we probably won't get another, and I don't want to get the TCs to the permanent engine power loss stage before December...

Why don't you just pay another $8 and buy another car dlc and then tune one set to your hearts content! Thats what I did.

PS: I know the DLC cars will be available from the dealer after the reported December update, but it's only $8... I'll sacrifice 1 happy meal for that. That and I believe the second DLC purchase makes me qualify for Kaz's Christmas gift. 👍

Why not back up your save then? You can put miles on it doing what you want, then copy that save back and Booyah! Back to 0 Miles. Thats how I've traded cars without losing any of them ;)

You can turn off the hud and see the tire temp now just turn on the tire setting during the options. 👍
