Can you be bothered to go into more detail? It was on the news page of GTP Sony approached random individuals for feedback on GT5.

And, of course, Kaz tweeting, which is the subject of this thread.

They've made it known that they monitor sites like this. The first few updates were minor changes here and there, some of which, were ones people had been asking and complaining about since 5 minutes after release.

Jordan runs one of the top GT boards IMO and along with other various boards PD keeps watch out over what people are saying. Also I'm sure they can monitor all of our game saves and or seasonal event usage that are on the PSN.

It's much easier in this day and age unlike say GT1 to get feed back.

We might not get much in line of changes from PD but sometimes we will get little ones.

Another edit, I do agree with the dumbing down of some things in the game, I'd rather some to be out right impossible challenge that takes me 2-3 hours of trying to hit my marks spot on with a lower level car.

You are confusing the meaning of "community". The "community" you are talking about is the avarage player, who gives jacks about GT.

The real community are we as GT fans, and none of us asked for all the crap they did with this game. Fact.

I think PD has always taken the community into account. The main problem from the internet's perspective (not mine) is that they feel they need to be acknowledged every time.

All that being said, I have always maintained the position that PD has always needed a community relations person like Robert Bowling (Infinity Ward/COD) or Ryan Payton (Kojima Productions/MGS4), etc. Now Kaz has basically filled this role on twitter, which to be honest is fine with me.

Well...amar always gave us lot´s of info about GT games , he helped this community more than anyone i can think of . I dont think he´s a blind fanboy .

I'd rather PD take community suggestions than not; even if a few mistakes or horrors come of it, they wouldn't be uncorrectable (if PD is listening to its base).

Calling Amar a blind fanboy isn't helping your case, i share the sentiment that he should not register. If he did register he should only preside in the premium section so that only premium members have access to ask him question.

Sorry to be off topic yet again, but I want to get this off my chest before calling it a day: I bought GT4 and later GT5 because PD developed it. Not some bloke with bad manners off the Internet. Mind you, that's not directed personally at you. Simply generally speaking.

If community feedback is filtered through Jordan first then that's reasonable. Cast a vote in a pre set poll, that's more than enough for 50 € worth of money.

But good Lord in heaven, I wouldn't wish my arch enemy to have to put up with some of the attitudes shown around here lately.

You are missintepreting them then. Maybe they didn't specifically say it, but they weren't implying this entire place as a whole. Even while I didn't see them specifically meaning the whiners who aren't the GT fans, I know exactly who they are reffering to.
