Date for new update or DLC? http://www.toyota.co.jp/jpn/tokyoms2011/ 3.12.2011? (us 12.3.2011)

I doubt an update for GT5 or its DLC would be announced on a Toyota website. It can however mean, there will be some kind of event in GT5 related to the FT-86.

We also have to remember that this event thing on the 15th, which is basically today involves the FT-86, not the FT-86 II, so we won't be getting any new car until the next DLC, which is yet to be announced.

By Yamauchi las teewts and retweets seems that the next DLC will include new cars. For now we can almost confirm the final version of the FT86 and the GTR 2012.

If the "final version" means that it is the actual production version of FT86 then I'm interested. :) Bit iffy about the GT-R 2012. A "normal" version that seems to out perform the old v-spec... maybe interesting.

Can somebody please post the contents of the 2 twitter post's as I cannot view the link's.
Thank's in advance

I think this is going to be the FT-86 we'll get, if any.

And I wouldn't be surprised about the GT-R, since the original GT-R debuted in Prologue and the real world simultaneously.

Hopefully we'll also get that awesome garage/tunnel that can be seen in that video as a photo location.

*sigh* more japanese cars. Let's hope the track is again real & epic. Silverstone, Road Atlanta, Brno or even Macau kind of real & epic.

Well they did rubbish RM'd cars that should have been in from the start but an awesome new Real Life track, and looking at what cars are been mentioned hopefully the same trait will continue of a decent Real Life track :dopey:

The FT-86 is the "new" Supra. So I would be very happy with that.

But only if you can RM it.:irked:
I'll change that "new" Supra with the "real" Supra any day any time. We already have 2 premium FT-86 in the game, we already have tons of Skylines in the game. I wont pay for them. They better add this tiny updates in a patch instead of DLC, because on DLC = total lame.

No it isn't a new Supra, if anything it fills the gap left by the last Celica and its name is a clear reference to the AE86.
I do wonder whether we might also get the Subaru version though.

I think its really a bit more to the 86 side... a small rwd coupé... well, I'll like it if they give us these cars in a form of free update, as a paid DLC, I would prefer something else.

I really think those will come as free updates.

Lol oh god... It has 200 horse power if thats the "new" supra that is one giant step back for toyota. Its suppose to be the new Corolla Levin.

The FT-86 is not the new Supra. Toyota has confirmed that a new Supra is in the works and it will most likely be a hybrid supercar. I would expect a 2014 launch.

Ha. I was wrong. I thought I'd read a while back that was the target of the FT-86.
Too bad. Toyota's sportiest car is the...Camry.

This article mentions the Supra, but says it is the replacement for the Celica.

Ok...back on topic. Carry on.

I'm almost shocked Twin Ring Motegi isn't in the game. I look for it to be added.

No way I'm buying this DLC if the cars are FT-86 and GT-R '12.
- There are already 2 FTs and I'm not fond of neither of them
- I already have the GT-R '12 remade in GT5 (just change a few things and it's there)
