Actually, I was going to submit "Phoenix Rising" or something like that, even if it wasn't the best choice due to lyrics, I felt a name like that was suitable for a game that's taken over half a decade to release ;).

How do you arrive at that conclusion?

You could just as well say "If the Daytona is in, the Batmobile might be in."...

Nevertheless, both Daytona and Miura would be more than welcome.

this is true, just because kaz is talking about it, or mentioning it, does not mean its in.

also, i know how to read hiragana, katakana and some kanji(meaning i am partially fluent in Japanese.) if that can be of any use.

Can someone kindly ask Kaz about the FT-86 ,I mean we haven't heard anythink from it in GT5 since it has been delayed (the car itself).Plus the fact that it didn't appear in the E3 demo.

I thought the G-tuned version showed up recently? Was sure I saw it as selectable at this recent Beta thing, or at least it looked like it from the grainy low-res video, as best as I could make out.

Are you sure, the Beta is supposedly the same as the E3 demo and the FT-86 wasn't in there neither the normal version or the G tuned one.It just seems strange that a car which had been seen in alot of GT5 trailers just dissapeared after its delay.:nervous:

Toyota FT-86 Concept
Toyota FT-86 GS Concept

Both of those should be in the game. We got screens & trailer footage of both.

What do you want me to ask him about it, in details?

yes but since it's production delay we haven't seen a screenshot of it in GT5 nor it appeared in any demo so I am thinking it will be as DLC.

*shrug* I'm sure it'll be in. It might not be in at the beginning (although it might as the FT-86 Concept Car) But the production version will be in eventually.

More than likely. I wouldn't be suprised if Sony task PD to pump out DLC. Especially considering how much DLC other Sony games have. (I'm looking at you LBP)

No, the G Sports model was in the E3 demo.

Near the end:

Yeah nice find, but interesting they put the G-concept instead of the normal version, only time will tell I guess.

There will be both, there is no reason what so ever they won't include it in GT5.

Actually there is as the car 's production has been delayed so Toyota (or Subaru)have every right not to allow PD to put it in the game and seeing as the G-concept is infact a concept so there wouldn't be any problems to have it in the game but anyway this is all speculation and only time will tell.

Any new tweets?

Umm, no. The car you have seen so far is the concept which has been licensed already (we've seen it in GT previews), which does exist. A full production model is what they wouldn't have a license for as it doesn't even exist yet. Sure if Toyota requested PD not to feature the FT86 concepts they wouldn't (even if they previously got the license) but that wont happen.

Concepts, including those that never reached production are nothing new to the GT series.

Someone please ask him if the cars with V8 engines actually sound realistic like a proper V8 Should sound after being modified.

And what would you think he'll answer? Ofcourse he'll say they sound as realistic as possible.
He's not going to say we'll had to make them sound like vacuumcleaners and when tuned it will sound like a tuned vacuumcleaner.

A more realistic question would be..

What sound system/ headphones does he use when playing the game?

See what he has to say, then say..

So do you think my V8 will sound realistic on my default setup? (add specs etc of home setup)

👍

Was the FT-86 named CONCEPT in whatever pictures/videos we saw?

Personally I'm not sure if the word "concept" was being used in any GT5 screens or videos or not and right now at 1/4 past 1 AM I can't be stuffed looking.. but the car itself (the FT-86) is in fact a Concept vehicle.

Assuming what you're talking about is whether or not the car is a Concept vehicle, If I'm wrong then.. Sorry. :)

Great news, GT5 seems to be really close to completion... rough google translation of kaz latest tweet...

GT5 is supposed to be be completed soon. Too often, so of course, still no end. "Do not forget the random and had the cure," but some say that, like this time of "War" is a good opportunity to re-experience. Enjoy. "War" for those who have never experienced first is the property of life.

Woohoo! :P

^^ Great news, late to the party but still the most awaited guest. :D Bring it.

In regards to the FT-86, I hope they aren't delaying it to make it a hybrid. I wouldn't mind if they had a hybrid version and a petrol version, but if it was only a hybrid that would be awful. If the FT-86 goes into production it would be the first great looking Toyota since the Supra in my opinion.

Of course it isn't finished (Kotaku act like it is suprising), games usually go gold by about 1 month from release, right now I suspect they're bug squashing and general polishing and will be for the ext month and a half. Even after it goes gold it wont stop, this is the reason some games get patches at release.
