You're a strange one 02civicsi!
Why thank you

I'm from America, I was just pointing out that you were being a smartass correcting grammar that needed no correcting while using incorrect grammar/spelling yourself. You used "then" when it should be "than", and that's American grammar buddy. I never correct people's spelling or grammar unless they do it to someone else.
Is that 'Merica?

So is it greater than or greater then?

The lawls just don't stop.

I did not correct his spelling it was someone else.

I do find it quite amusing that all you chaps from the UK(or shall post England) stick together. Bravo

I apoligise  for that then, I didn't look back properly as there are 90 odd pages in this thread, it would take forever.

Can somebody please ask Kaz when (a month in a year, not a state of the game) he is planning to consider GT5 finished so I could finally buy it? :)

How did you get that to translate? I tried to figure it out a week or two ago and couldn't figure it out. Probably something stupidly easy.

I use the Twitter app Osfoora for iPhone. It has a built in translate.

Here's another from yesterday.

According to one of Kaz's latest tweets, in-game saves during endurance races are under development.

Kaz_Yamauchi: ごめん。耐久レースでの途中のセーブ。ただいま開発中です。RT @andrepeniche: 私は単純に耐久レースを再生するテレビの前に滞在する4、9または24時間を持っていないためGT5を愛しているけれど、残念ながら、私はそれを終わらせることはできません。
Kaz_Yamauchi: I'm sorry. Game saves during endurances. They are currently under development. RT @andrepeniche: as I simply don't have 4, 9 or even 24 hours available to stay in front of the TV to do endurance races, as much as I love GT5, unfortunately it's not possible for me to complete them.

It isn't "endurance" anymore if you can save, to be honest.

I don't get this argument at all.

You still run the duration of the race one corner, one second, one minute at the time, until complete.

I'm running the 24hrs of Lemans right now.
Yea on pause.
God forbid we have a power failure or my 14 hrs is for naught.
Thats why I'm for the endurance save feature.
I lost a couple endurance races more than half way in GT4 under that very scenario.

You still don't have to use the save or pause feature if you don't want to.

Some content may require more dedication and that's ok.

It's like an MMO, World of Warcraft for example. You can't dedicate 5 evenings a week to the game? Ok then, you can still run 5 man dungeons and stuff, no worries. Yet, you can't run the 25 man dungeons since it'd require you to invest more time than you want.

Why should GT5 be any different? You get out more if you invest more time - that's only fair. You should at least have a limitation, maybe 4 or 5 saves per race, if they allow you to save it.

1. Most of us have jobs.
2. Some of us are in college.
3. Some of us have to commit to our own families and children.
4. If the PS3 is left on a very long time it can burn out.
5. Not to mention wasting electricity and raising electric bills...
6. As SuperCobraJet said, there might be unexpected power failures.

Please consider these before you say that endurance doesn't need in-game saves.

On a similar note, they need to bring back the speed-up controls in B-Spec mode, for the above reasons as well.

I have a rather demanding job and a girlfriend as well, I rarely come home from work before 10pm. Yet, many people on here left their PS3 on for weeks and nothing happened - it's even better to leave it on for 48 hours than switching it on and off 10 times during the same timeframe. Power failures could also corrupt your save game btw.
