You're right they don't look worn, but the rears are over halfway gone. I rotated them this year. The asphalt wasn't nearly as hot for the time attack as the solo I did last year.
Speaking of which, all you haters (PB) that talk crap about my tires still being pretty:
I'm missing chunks! Also, I need to get my passenger door fixed some time. It seriously is like a hall of mirrors.
Anyways, the point of this post. I got something kinda cool in the mail. Namely my set of PIC coilovers. My spring rates are approximately 10 kg/mm in the front and 8 kg/mm in the rear (~564 lb/in and 450 lb/in, respectively), which is pretty typical for cars that get driven hard on the street and track both. I think PIC's highest offering is 12 K front and 14 K rear springs, which is basically just a monster autocross setup. At that point a Civic would oversteer almost as much as an MR2.
These things are a work of art. I don't know whether to put them on the car or hang them up on the wall.
We'll get to it, we'll get to it. Maybe tomorrow, actually. Assuming the dreaded Honda rear lower control arm bolts come out without a hassle, it'll hopefully get done tomorrow.
