FN1 - Euro Type R - which isn't even related to these other cars...its more of an updated EP3

Hardly. It's not even slightly like the EP3. The only similarities are the engine and transmission. The rest of the car is completely different.

Oddly enough though the Euro Civic is growing on me. The only current Civic I prefer to it now is the JDM Type-R. And in all honesty I've not heard anyone complaining about the handling of the Euro Civics so it doesn't seem to have suffered much from losing the more exotic double-wishbone suspension.

Love the video, but you would get so many producers over here for making that noise

Low is good, Keef. Low is good.

Exhaust sounds fairly aggressive, too. Your coathanger definitely does not out-ghetto my two-hooks-stuffed-into-a-hanger setup. I need to redo it, as one of the hooks is too long and rattles on the underbody.

That'd be interesting to see how our SI compares to the Euro CTR.

It wins.

I don't know any numbers for how they compare, but its been said many many times that the Euro CTR is slower than the USDM Si.

Edit: The interior of the Euro CTR is pretty damn awesome though. Both Type Rs have some neat electronics.

Oh, and Keef, that Torsion Beam rear suspension'd Cobalt beats the Si now. But its still a Cobalt. :dopey:

Nice pictures 👍!

Why do you have those goofy blue headlamp bulbs though?

I don't disagree with them looking cool, it's just I find they are awful lights.

Yeah, they're blue. But when $40 per pair Sylvanias only last you six months, it makes $7 Ebay bulbs entirely appealing. So cheap, I bought 2 pairs just incase they went out!

Looks like you at least need to lower the rear a little if you can't get away with the front. It seems odd having those wheels and track rubber and it having that much gap. I think my Si isn't much higher than that!

I'm a lighting whore though, so you can ignore me. I just find those blue bulbs to suck at night because they cast weird shadows and make everything harder to see. And if it's raining out, forget it.

Sylvania "high output" anything sucks. Silverstars, now there's a joke right there.

The idea is to transfer a bit more weight forward, resulting in the rear end being more flickable on a tight autocross course. I don't have a clue if that actually works, but it sounds good so I'm sticking with it until I find out otherwise lol.

I like the picture of the car through the chain link fence, very nice 👍

Very nice pictures, I especially like how the RPF1's seem to get more coverage than the rest of the car. Damn I love RPF1's, I so want some when I get a car.

Do you have the last image widescreen for my desktop please?

Niiiiice, lol. I've got enough room left on these coils to do it, too. Maybe sometimes. I'm sure it'll be worth a standing ovation from some of you.

Speaking of which, my cousin has an EJ1 which is hardly slammed in the front, and his soft spring rates have already let his UCAs bust dents on top his fender wells. Time to start cutting!

I'll always remember putting ZEAL coilovers on my first ITR and setting them as low as possible just for giggles... The chassis was literally on the ground, and there was still thread on the shock body to go lower. I drove it around the block and could easily tell if I had run over a dime or a quarter.

Keef, leave your car as it is. Any lower and you'll look like a total dick.
