King of the Track: The Community vs C.J Wilson

Does it say anywhere that CJ can't improve on the time he set? It'd be funny if he logged on Jan. 31 and put up a 1:07........actually, no it wouldn't. I'd be pissed.

Well I just ran a 1:12.xxx but the Facebook app is showing me as 1.17.xxx. My very first attempt wasn't even that slow. :odd:

Difference isn't as drastic as others on here, but I got a 1:10.437, and it shows 1:11.051 on the facebook app. This was atleast 2 weeks ago.

Either way i'm still in the safe zone, so I can relax :sly:

I would think it would help a little. Like I said I went from real shifting to game shifting so I wouldn't know how it would be vice-versa.

Nope, neither game helps at all. I've been driving standard my whole life (since I was around 6 years old, driving tractors and dozers on our farm) but my wife never learned how to drive standard. I let her play GT5 and FM4 (both with a wheel, pedals with clutch and shifter) for a while and then we went out and practiced in a real car and she said the game did absolutely nothing to prepare her, and I believe it because neither game feels remotely close to real life (with clutch support), in my opinion.

A friend of my texted me yesterday said he finally beat my time, him being not the best driver. I said wow you beat my 1:13.840? And he responded no, your 1:15+. I just checked.... FM4 has me down at 1:15.143... WTF happened to my 1:13.840 time?!?!!!!!🤬🤬

I just checked the FB app again and my time has now been changed to 1.14.xxx up from the 1.17.xxx it was a few days ago. That's still slower than in game though where I ran a 1.12.xxx. I wonder why the FB app shows slower times, plus changed my time even when I haven't run the event again.

Facebook app is whacked. Besides, according to the contest rules they will use the XBox Live leaderboards to determine the winners.

According to the mods at FM.net, CJ's posted time is his time. He will not be attempting to lower it.

FYI. If you're already faster than CJ, you could probably start practicing at Laguna in the Dodge. I think our celebrity rival will be Quinton “Rampage” Jackson for February.

To enter you must be an Xbox LIVE Gold member in good standing, have access to an Xbox 360 console, and have access to the Xbox 360 game title “Forza Motorsport 4. Once you have verified that you meet these system requirements, you may enter the Contest when you log into the Xbox LIVE service and play the “Forza 4 Rivals” Using the 2007 Mazda MX-5 Roadster Coupe on Road Atlanta or the 2009 Dodge Challenger ST8 on Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca game during one or both Prize Periods.

You may play the game as many times as necessary during each Prize Period to achieve your fastest time. Scores will be posted on the Xbox Live Forza 4 leaderboard.

I still don't get how my time changed. I hit a 1:13.840 with a pad, even saw it registered on the server leaderboard in the game and it's back up to 1:15.1xx now. I was busy this weekend but will have to hit this up tonight and try to nail a time faster than CJ's. This time I'll take a pic as proof.

What happened to that thread......and his time. I beat his time early and never went back to see if he reset his fast lap. Did not get a car or an update. What's up with that? Cool challenge, lame ending. Turn 10 doesn't even post the results? Meh Stupid Unicorn's:censored:

1) Be patient.
2) They are sending the cars out next week, they do need to compile a list of who gets what car after all.

So when do I get my Unicorn...LOL
Beat his time on the leader boards. Don't think he set a new fast lap.

I am just curious to know the status. i don't know how it works or if he set a new time because the challenge was taken down and now who knows what his time was? My first one so...Not sure I am even in line for a car. Did you have to do anything outside of the leader boards, like Facebook or something?

You should take another look at the leaderboards. I had my 1:13.840 posted on the leaderboard and then it somehow changed back to an older 1:15.xxx time 🤬🤬

His time is still 1:13.XXX, they took it down because it was only for January and they replaced it with February's, which will be taken down on the 1st of March.

Did you have to do anything outside of the leader boards, like Facebook or something?

Nope, like I said, they have to compile lists of who gets the Huayra and who gets the Challenge Stradale as well. You have to figure there are easily at least 100,000 times they have to sort through.

Where is the leaderboard? Last I checked my time was screwed up and from what I heard, they screwed them up even further in the last days of the competition.
