Grafpt, what's the deal. I've waited from 5am to 6am EDST (Aus) and still haven't heard back...
I can see that you, Lefty and waynz are online now but i haven't had an invite.

yet 2 reserve drivers where in this race? 👎

And no tire wear... really stuffed my race :( ... I Pitted early thinking it would pay off later.. after 15 laps tires still green :indiff:

Great crash fest into turn 1. Everyone forgot that turn was there?

Couldn't even keep my car straight before someone t bones me. 👎

LOL... Crash fest massive... I got a few punts during this race... Maybe everyone was on the source and I'm stuck drinking coffee... makes a huge difference you know.

I had about 10 crashed after lap 1 but I recovered to 5th place. I'm really pleased with that result.

I hope to god there's a swear filter on this site because this 'race series' has been an absolute ****ing shambles!

First of all, from start to finish this thread has been full of confusion. No one even knew when to turn up to take part in the damn thing! The whole organising of this championship has been dire! Going into the race most people didnt know what settings were enabled and how that would effect them, it seems Grafpt was spending more time trying to set up a stupid live stream that no one had a clue when or how the race would turn out either. We had confirmed participants waiting in this forum. What a load of ****! I said to wait a couple of times, but two seconds later reserve drivers were being pulled in. Who's fault is it that people turned up late when the host didnt even arrive until 45 minutes after everyone else!

The eventual 'race' too. Oh my ****ing good god! I dont know about everyone else but I was smashed off the track 3 times in that first lap. 3!! Have a guess at how many people slowed down to let me take back the position! It didnt end there either. A further 2 times I was rammed off. And I wasnt alone because I saw other people being nurfed around as well. Bull. ****!

I've said too much as it is but I couldnt contain it. From the first corner to this last word I was fuming! Clean and fair racing my ass! You can strike my name from the series because I want no further involvement in this embarrisment.

The effort of creating a championship for us all to have fun was appreciated. Its just a shame it was poorly executed and filled with mostly moronic drivers. Have fun guys. If this goes the 19 race distance I'll eat my ****ing hat.

Well then. He isn't having a great season. I still would leave collisions on. Otherwise it's just ghosts racing. And besides, overtaking people is great fun.

Well said grafpt! I found today's race to be clean and fair for the most part. I had a bit of a coming together with lefty but slowed down and pulled over to let him past, so the comments above would seem pretty unfounded!

Roh has every reason to be annoyed. I felt the same after last weeks race and the same thing happened this week. Somebody is unaware that on the first lap at turn 1 the cars will be going much slower than they normally would and ploughs in causing a chain reaction punt fest.

Accidents will happen(I bumped someone at turn 1 a few laps in. I dont know who it was, sorry to you. I waited of course.) but that turn 1 pile up was caused by someone being reckless,I was hit hard from behind, too hard for it to have been due to locked brakes.

Also you should not try to overtake someone through a turn unless you have sufficient overlap. Dive bombing up the inside nearly always results in an accident.

When any of you race an online race that SOMEONE doesn't dive bomb, lemme know. It's out of anyones hands. And ok for him being mad, but don't bash MY series for his lack of talent on teh coarse. You will see in my video EVERYONE his SOMEONE in the race, its a video game. He needs to take it up with whoever hit him, not me. I never even saw him.

+1 👍

What? Lack of talent? There's NOTHING you can do about getting punted, even if you are the real Shumacher.

Ive raced plenty of online races here on GT5P with GTP members and until this series everyone Ive raced has known and complied with OLR etiquette.

Im not knocking this series and personally I think you've done a good job. Im also not knocking anyone in particular because Im always too busy trying to stay on the track to notice who's pushing me. I still enjoyed the race but its not what I've come to expect at GTP

But I'm sorry, how people drive is out of my hands. I can not speek for people. I don't see anyone giving names either, tell me, they will be warned and if it happens again, tell me and it will be dealt with. Don't cry like a little kid. And don't publicly bash me, PM me if you have an issue.

And yet again another +1.

We have a reason to be mad because we expected no touching and close racing. No a demolition derby. :yuck: :grumpy:

EDIT, Grapt, you're the person in charge. Send PM's to those who are dirty, give them strikes, the driver does not apply? boot 'em..

Only thing I'd say, wasn't damage supposed to be on full according to the rules? Yet in the actual race I believe it was set to cosmetic? Setting it to full would surely discourage reckless manoeuvres as you're more likely to come of worse running into the back of someone!

Sure, speek up and tell me who it is, I wasn't driving your car.

I understand, I was bumped around just as much as everyone else. I havent replayed my video yet, so once I do, people will be PMd that I saw. Everyone deserves a warning.

just everyone QQ and PM me.

To be completly honest I think captain Roh might be angry at me. Two people in front of me were batalling. It ended up with captain the wrong way round at the exit of turn 1. I didn't see him and I went staight into him. Luckily the force turned him around.
L_hamilton did I hit you when I was passing you on the 2nd last straight. But then you crashed into me the very next lap.

One good thing about Forza is the ability to save replays and post them up for all to see.

Track etiquette is not in everyone's blood I suppose.

Wow, hearing all these complaint and confusion is a turn away. You all need to at least keep up with this thread and know all the rules instead of just showing up on Sunday not knowing anything.

Remember to bloody brake into turn 1. Don't get exited and try some crazy late braking move, and keep a good space between each other, because you might end up ruining yours and other drivers' race. Gain a position from going off track, give the place back. Make contact and knock someone off or spin them, wait for them and give the position back

Read all the rules and keep up with this thread constantly. Grafpt, as race organizer and championship owner, every race, you need to make sure everyone is aware of the rules, and enforce the rules. Anyone who does drive dirty and not return places gotten unfairly, slap a time penalty on their race completion time, even if thy did get one in the race already, and if there are any drivers who constantly drive dirty and unfairly, throw them out the championship door altogether.

I qualifyed 12th and was inclined to stay there and then I was everyone's punch bag. Seriously if this continues we will have to have a rolling start instead.

Actions will be taken when I watch recording and when people speek up about who hit them. Im not superman, its being done as fast as i can. Just chill.

Don't worry. I'm calm. The fact that there was a crash at turn 1 was no ones fault. It's very hard to avoid. Everybody should stop critisizing grafpt. He is doing a magnificent job. I think that the gtplanet racing etiquette should be added to the 1st post however. I'm just dreading Monaco though. I think we might actually need a rolling start there.

I wasn't criticizing, I didn't even race. I was just giving some points as to what to do.

I know you didn't. It's the people who expect this game to be played without accident that I'm on about. I just want to know is everyone here willing to play on in November and beyond?
People who I'm 100% sure on are people like lefty, peter, timo, me. But what about people who will quit? Hopefully there is none.

A question. How many drivers were in the race today? And how many of the drivers who weren't made it clear they wouldn't be there?

I'm just way better at Melbourne than at Bahrain in my opinion. I can't qualify but I can overtake. That would leave me like kobayashi which I'm pleased with. It's just I'm rigthly ****ed for Monaco.

Edit:12 drivers. 2 of them were reserve drivers. Jerry told us that he can't race and I don't know what happened to drumc0de.
