Coming from someone who posted this:
That was not aggression, that was condescension - slightly different. It is also a quote from Ace Ventura, sorry for trying to reference pop culture on the internet.

Wheels do not affect performance.

Whether they are programmed as such in GT Sport, they do affect performance in real life - more so than any other kind of weight saving in fact as they are un-sprung weight. And if aero packages affect performance, surely that is more reason why they should be included over something like wheels which are just cosmetic?

Do you think that adding a wing or bodykit in Need For Speed alters the performance of the vehicle as it doesn't. Which as stated before, makes it no different from changing the wheels or adding a livery to a vehicle.

Again who is the aggressive and demanding here? LOL

Again, this is not aggression it is an observation. This is stating that most people would either be happy or not fussed by the addition - based on the contents of this forum you are one of the very few who strongly opposes such a change.

Our opinions do not align, but do not mistake my posts for aggression or dictation in the way you suggest.

Yes.But GTS is not like previous GT's is it?

In response to this, the next December update includes a large raft of 'career' modes to make it very much more like previous GTs, so based on this PD may well be working on adding features that were in previous GTs.

You did not like my opinion, your right not to.But you quoted that with "condescension" and accused me of being aggresive and demanding. In a topic that I did not demand anything (its you and others that demand new customizing options).
I dont "strongly" oppose to anything:I said that GTS is not NFS.Thus this idea does not fit into GTS.Simple as that.
I think this game needs to fix other things before adding bodykits like penalty system, sort out SR/DR rating,BoP (just a few examples).
If not then this game deserves to be treated as NFS and also have these "customisation" options.

Would be awesome but then a lazy developer would'nt be able to pad their already mediocre car count with duplicates.

You're Arguing against consumers having more choices in their product lol. A corporation's wet dream, a person who argues against what's best for them and others in favor what's best for the corporation.

Regardless of the tone assumed by either of us, your first post says

So no kind of those changes should/would happen
That is being demanding, cut it how you want. I am not demanding this be added, and have never said so. I have merely said that it would be nice to have.

The other problem I have is that you keep stating that they are customisations and have no place in a game which already allows you to customise the wheels and livery of your car. You are directly contradicting yourself - which is the bit I don't understand.

On the flip side, I agree that they should fix other things before adding more.

You missed my points but whatever.
Let me put it in another way:I prefer Sports mode fixed/improved first (penalty system/rating system/BoP/wheel FFB examples) before we add "more cosmetic options".

But the people who create the content (car models etc.) aren't usually the people who troubleshoot the bugs or work on the physics...? So why not both?

Ok i see where you're coming from.

But modifications they can legit add and it be great no fuss no issues. I honestly don't expect most of that to ever be fixed, don't see a realistic way to fix the penalty and rating systems.

If they did that then they couldn't use it as an excuse to pad the car count. I don't see it happening. Would be neat if done well but I have it pretty low on the wishlist.

Not entirely sure where this came from???

The other GT games had this customization feature, probably due to the fact that the cars you bought, you tended to keep and modify, not really part of this game so far, maybe that will change with the fully fleshed out campaign update in Dec? I'd really love to see it added to the livery editor as that is the only place that it would seem to fit in the new game.

Was a parody-post of how people see things in other games and immediately want them in Gran Turismo...
