This entire thread is an absolute shambles, one of the poorest quality last few pages if not THE that I've seen in my time on GTP. I to am offended by some of the material being posted here (as I see you were similarly on the last page NNU) and I don't belong to any of the groups being aimed at, not even close.

Back to the topic in hand, as long as they look decent enough from the road I'm happy, it's a bit of an atmosphere killer if you can easily spot poor quality backgrounds, but certain tracks don't need much attention put into things like the trees. Something like the N-ring clearly does as there's plenty roadside, but I'd forgive them for slapping some 2d ones in a city track.
