Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary - Veneno (Lambo's fastest car ever!)

The Aventador LP720-4 50 Anniversario has too many damn numbers in it.

BMW will sue.

It's not worse than the Veneno, but it is worse than the standard Aventador. I feel like it's the 80s all over again, except Dubai has replaced Miami for the target market of conspicuous consumption. If this is the future, I don't want to be a part of it.

I like it thought the rear end is a little too busy I think. Overall I really like that shade of yellow over it. Contrasts well with the black. Interior looks great as well.

So the Aventador has taken up the baton put down by the Countach in the "let's glue some stuff to the bottom half of it like it's a Grand Prix" category.

That's probably the only ugly Aventador I've ever seen. Never been a fan of dipping the bottom half in chocolate and I've only ever seen that work on older cars.

Oh, it's not a pointless car?

No, it isn't. It's representative of the brand's image and serves as a celebration for their 50th anniversary. You may not like it but it's far from pointless.

Considering its technically the fastest Lamborghini in history, I don't see how it's pointless.

And just when you thought it couldn't get any more ugly Lamborghini presents the Lamborghini Egoista...

Luckily it's just a prototype which isn't planned for production

That looks awesome. It's not pretty but it's insane and striking, just as Lambos should be. Egoista is Italian for selfish apparently. :odd:

The name is just ironic.
I find it pretty neat that Lamborghini has the b... bravery to design such cars.
It's refreshing to see supercars without sleek and clean curves.

Thank god the Egoista is not planned for production. It looks like it's got a hump on the back, the front looks like a trident, and the vents, the lines and the 'Caution' fonts on the front and the side are excessive and adds more ugliness to the car. The aggresive styling just doesn't work for me, and IMO it looks even worse than the Veneno. :yuck:

As a showcar it's pretty cool, but way over the top for any production intent, really. The wheels on the other hand are quite epic, they look like tangerine slabs put together on a star pattern.

Could this be previewing some styling cues of the Gallardo replacement, the tentatively called Cabrera? I hope not.

What is it with Lamborghini?.. enough with the Gunpla already. If it were something from Wiegert, then i could understand.
Only things i like about it are: weird upper rear active wing corners and the wheels, the rest.. 👎

I like it. Tired of seeing so much chrome and repetitive designs in today's world, these designs have theatre and even though they aren't "pretty", I wish more car companies would be ambitious with their designs like this.
