Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 (Murci Replacement) More Images Post 30

Are those window switches up by the nav screen, at separate edges? Lets not make things easy or anything. Or God forbid, on the door.

I'm assuming they didn't want to run any wiring into the door.

Safe to say that if it has electric windows and adjustable mirrors there's going to be plenty of wires already in the doors.

Am I the only one who at first Pronounced it A -vent-Aie-Dur which sounds like a SUV :odd: Thankfully I was wrong (way wrong)

In case you want user pictures, I've got a few.

I went the the Geneva Auto Show yesterday, and I've got a few pictures of the car (inside and out).

I'm going again next week, incase you want more photos. And I also have interior shots of the R8 V10 Spyder (coupe = dream car), and the LP 560 Bicolore. And close up shots of the Huayra etc...
Thanks for sharing the pics. The Reventon is stil my favorite but this is right there with it for sure especially with that beautiful orange!:drool:

Did you really have to include all those pictures in your quote?

Nice looking car though, I think Jeremy will criticize it for not being mental enough.

Those aren't all of the pictures. (:

We'll see about that. I agree, it's not Countach mental, but ever since Audi got a hold of Lamborghini, the vehicle's have tamed a bit.

Nice noise, wide boy. :embarrassed:

Actually, it's quite worth mentioning that because, when measured mirror-to-mirror the Aventador is 89.17 in (2,265 mm) wide.

For comparison purposes, take into account that the Murci was 81.0 in (2057.4 mm) wide.

Ooooh yeah, that gives me a shiver in the man regions. :D Wished the track wasn't wet though, would've really liked to have seen it at full noise in the higher gears.

The rear end I'm going to have to get used to, I'm a fan of the Gallardo/Murcielago rear more, but otherwise, beautiful car. 👍

The sound... I just had a thought (rare, I know :D), but does anyone else see the rear end and think, 'GT by Citroen'?

Going by autoshow photos and press releases I was not too sold on the Aventador but watching that Autocar review... wow, I'm sold.

Read the CAR review last week and it was universally positive... a massive step forward vs the Murci.

Compared to cars like the Zonda and limited edition Ferrari's and Porsche, the Lambo even looks good value for money at £225k or so.

I did say this is something between a Murci and the batmobile,oh and speaking of the dark knight .Guess what Bruce will drive :sly:

EVO magazine gave the Aventador 5 stars. Handling was very much improved thanks to resin fiber technology (RFT) of the body panels. Steering feel was quoted to be lighter than the Murcielago, although not Ferrari-light. As always, straight-line acceleration is stupendously fast.

A comparo between the Aventador, 911 GT2 RS, MP4-12C, Ferrari GTO or 458 Italia sounds good to me.

Amazingly, a fully specced-up 458 Italia sits in the whereabouts of £200k.

[FRY]Not sure if Aventador is too cheap or either 458 is too expensive....[/FRY]

I think the Aventador is incredibly good VFM compared to the 458... though £225k is a huge amount of money to spend on a car!
