My cousin works at Lamborghini Palm Beach and he posted a couple pictures of that police Huracan on his facebook account. It is pretty neat, that is for sure.

That didn't take long for Italy's police to get a Huracan...

I thought they looked good before seeing them in person. They are stunning in person. Makes the Aventador look a little heavy and unnecessarily over-styled I think. I always preferred the Murcielago to the Gallardo, but I definitely like the Huracan more than the Ave.

Gentlemen:

That didn't take too long, though it surprises me that this is as far as I know the first Lamborghini Race car not developed by Reiter Engineering.

I think the possibility of Lamborghini wanting to have the car race outside of the FIA GT3/Super Trofeo series may be why. It seems like they're ready to back the car/teams themselves.

I saw this Huracan in Edinburgh 28/08/14 I genuinely believe this was the first one in the UK, if anyone is skeptical about the validity of this photo I can provide the Reg.

Looks great on the road there. Like an evolution of the Murci in more compact form. Can't wait to see what the inevitable Superleggera looks like.

Is it ok to not have a front plate on?
Pretty sure you're required to have a front plate on cars in the UK, and it has to be a proper one. I don't think the punishment is that severe if you get caught without one though, if the police even bother.

Here it's the same but you'd get in big trouble, shame since they're terribly ugly.

Lamborghini is working on a RWD Huracàn

Lamborghini is working on a follow-up to the Gallardo Superleggera that will see the Huracan LP610-4 gain power, shed weight and ditch a pair of driven wheels to battle new rivals like the Ferrari 488 GTB and McLaren’s 675LT.

Lamborghini has also confirmed it will develop a cheaper rear-wheel drive Huracan model that could be called the LP610-2.

The revelations were made pre the Geneva motor show by Lamborghini chief test driver, Giorgio Sanna, to British car magazine Evo at the launch of the rear-wheel drive LP620-2 Super Trofeo race car in Malaysia.

At the event, Sanna said the spiritual heir to the Gallardo Superleggera would be made in a similar vein to Ferrari’s recent 458 Speciale - hinting that the Huracan will lose weight, gain power and have a sharp focus on track driving.

The return of a two-wheel drive Lamborghini will follow in the tyre tracks of the last generation Gallardo that was initially offered with rear-wheel drive in the “Balboni” special edition. Created as a tribute to the legendary Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni, the special edition Lamborghini then became a full entry-level production model called the LP550-2.

An announcement on the two new rear-wheel drive models is expected in 2016.

SHould make it more fun

not that a few hundred thousand pounds V10 supercar that I dream about wasn't fun before but yeah.

Sweet Superleggera. I'm sure that car will be as awesome as its regular form. Me likey.

Little early in the production cycle to be pushing this one out. Could possibly be the RWD car as well, or a special edition.

If the exhausts have been set that high it's almost certainly the Superleggera; the purpose of doing so is to create a more effective rear diffuser and overall aero package.
