I admit the engine cover is questionable, and the wing could be a bit wider, but other than that it looks great to me. You have to admit it looks better than the Huracan.

It seems as though Lamborghinis are getting uglier I recent years. Between the last five models they've made (Reventon, Sesto, Aventador, Veneno and Huracan) I only really like the look of the Veneno, and that's just because it looks like a Hotwheel... and only ten were made. There have been too many issues with the design of the others that simply ruined the cars for me.

I personally find the Huracan a better looker than that specific Gallardo. The rear vent ruins it for me. The regular facelifted Gallardo's rear disrupted vent looks much better.

How did you come to the conclusion that the engine cover is questionable? It's the same basic concept behind the race car.

I just think the vents look odd, the way they are bigger nearer to the spoiler and smaller by the window. If they were all the same size and perpindicular to the sides of the cover they would look better.

They are the same size across the hood; the way they are designed only gives that impression. They can look better another way all day, but form follows function.

I really don't think they are, if you look at the road car picture on the last page you have a better angle.

Here's the new Super Trofeo

Looks and sounds great! Much better than the old Gallardos. Is this car AWD or RWD?

As with every racing car now, the livery isn't great. They really should have made something match the lines more.

Yeah, they could've chosen something else, but that is likely a placeholder before they get some actual sponsors for the car.

Also, I thought the car was a Vision GT until the camera man poked through the window. The interior of the car was so dark, it looked like it didn't have one.

Livery isn't surprising. Mild yet recognizes Blancpain (JB1735), incorporates the Squadra Corse team with the stripes, & the "stealth" grey.

The Pirelli logos btw, are going to be there on every car.

Which is why I will pay any team up to £20 in order to make them look less terrible. Throw on a Pirelli yellow stripe or something

It's just such a boring design. The only stripes are the weird whites ones going around the windows, and then the Italian stripes at the bases of the doors. Gray is generally a bad color for race cars anyway in my opinion.

Image I took from the Silverstone Classic this year. Gorgeous looking car, in my eyes Lamborghini can do no wrong these days in terms of design. Loved everything that they have made (in my lifetime) and love some of their designs from before my lifetime. Was really nice to see the Huracan in the flesh, especially after being surrounded by Aventador's, Gallardo's, couple of Countach's with the odd Diablo, Miura and Jalpa thrown in.

I loved the Huracan from day one, kinda reminds me of a mini Aventador. Didn't ever really care for the Gallardo except for the insane Underground Racing TT builds.

Awesome car, but it's not made for tracks. It's made to drive through a hilly place, or slam the pedal on the interstate. It's meant for late-night speed runs through a city that scare dogs and children from the noise of it alone.

Sort of like a very very expensive General Lee.

That's my opinion on Lambos and this one in particular anyway. Fun, insane cars, but not serious racers. I mean yeah they're fast, but it's just not their personality. And this beauty personifies that.

It would follow suit of the Gallardo, so it seems plausible. The only question is will they actually spend the time to market it or will the clientele have to stumble upon it whilst shopping the current market?

I think they'll advertise it. They learned from their mistakes with the Gallardo.

I can't warm up to the appearance of this car. Hopefully it will look better when I see one in person, like what happened with the Ferrari F12. It's just ugly and unrefined, not only in the front but also in the back. The second-gen Gallardo remains my favorite modern-era car.

I feel like I'm losing touch with Lamborghini, my favorite brand. It's a sad feeling. I like the more conservatively-styled cars of the 2000's better, the new ones are simply overdone. And not like the Countach was overdone... the Countach and the Diablo looked wild but beautiful at the same time. Modern Lambos are just wild.

What is your opinion on the Murciélago?

Not quite as good as the Gallardo, but still pretty (to be exact the LP640 is better than the original Gallardo, however the LP560 is better looking than both Murcis). The asymmetrical intakes on the LP640 don't really matter so much to me; they're hard to notice. The Murci is less interesting but still better looking than the Aventador.
