Like I said, I agree its special seeing a brand new car like that on the streets, especially it being a brand new model of Lamborghini. Of course attention is warranted. My problem is the 45min of following him. The Lambo guy should of called police instead of pulling on the off ramp of a highway. You drive a car like that you gotta expect attention, but 45min of some random guy following you is a bit extreme. Although the guy following wasn't really being too aggressive from what I saw, it was the length of time he followed him that's the issue.

When the Lambo driver confronted him, the Subaru driver should of just stated he was a car enthusiast fascinated with the car because its brand new instead of just saying there's no problem, so he could at least clarify why he was following.

Though I agree, if it was that much of an issue then they should have called the cops on the Subaru driver instead of taking actions into their own hands. If he felt the guy was a threat after being followed for that long, that's who he should have called before taking his own action. Then the jack ass causing troubles on the highway would have got his. The bigger question is, what does a guy do for a living that allows him to at the drop of a hat follow a super car not even going in his directions because it's new...

The only thing I can respect the Lambo driver with is the fact that he didn't just lay down the gas and lose the camera guy instantly like he could have.
From what the guy recording made it out to be, he did just that til' he ran into traffic. However, he incriminates himself because he had to have done the same to know he ran into traffic. That Lamborghini would be long gone if he hadn't been trying to keep up.

Race Program Manager for Chevy Racing told us (SAE group I'm in) when she visited earlier this year that she got to test drive the new C6 and Z06 along with other vehicles to give feed back to the engineers. And supposedly many people get to do this type of road testing with in the company from what we were told. This guy could be someone with a decent title in Lamborghini North America and thus get to do the same thing. Drive the car and report back his findings. The only thing that is strange is sending out another car to bait away would bes like the camera man.
I don't know if it's true, but according to Leno when he went to the GM plant, one of the test drivers for the Corvette line is a lady in her 50's who has run everything from the Stingray to the ZR1.

This guy however, has been shown to have no direct affiliation with Lamborghini. He's possibly a dealer or 3rd party that VAG contracts out in the US.

I think they were both stupid at the end. The guy with the camera is a big moron for harassing and then thinking he was entitled to not be counter-harassed but at the same time it could have easily been solved a different way then what we now get to see.

I guess traffic does play issues even if you can go faster than anything in Subaru's line up...in ever.

Ah, thanks for the tip. He does seem like a guy that I'd more likely see driving a lifted excursion and not the next Lambo Super car.

Seems like a guy that has former GFs nervous :sly:

I'll agree there as well that they're all stupid for how they handled it. It greatly amuses me though, that the direction of support in the last 24 hours has shifted from the Subaru driver to the Lamborghini, mainly for the time frame that he followed. All I've seen people on the Subaru driver's side is, "LOL, how'd that fat hick get that car? Probably stole it, yo". Seriously, are people this stupid to jump to a stereotype than look at the facts?

I'm sure if a tall brunette with long legs & a big chest stepped out, they'd throw out this idea that Lamborghini test drivers should all be men in Versace suits.

Yes the ones that are serious are, I joke of course because I've provided an exampled to @CallmeDan of a person I'd never expect to get to test performance GM cars. Those who aren't are usually doing so because they don't have an argument or are kids like those that we have here...

^ Among other things, and if it wasn't a prototype and it was a production car they'd claim that she was a gold digger obviously messing with no broke broke. :sly::D

I met a Lamborghini owner Saturday, who had brought his '13 LP560-4 (with a Heffner Twin Turbo) to Cars and Coffee. He seemed to recognize my dad's 911, and asked if he remembered driving down I-75 with him about two years ago in Ohio. My dad had told me about seeing a black Gallardo, which had been the man's previous car. Pretty awesome that the two drivers finally met in a different state years later.

He definitely wasn't the douchebag steryotype that everyone associates with Lamborghini drivers, he was a friendly guy. The Porsche owners in the PCA are also good people. In fact, I don't think I've ever met someone with a more expensive car who is a douche. It is truly a shame that wealthy car owners are steryotyped as such.

Yeah, its really a shame. The obly drivers I came along who fit to that "douche" stereotype are usually people who drive around their company car which is an Audi/Merc/BMW.

I'm assuming to replace the race car since it's quite a bit behind in tech by this point as well. Anxious to see it in a race trim (if the case) since Reiter hasn't touched the Aventador.

Don't quote word for word but I believe they're racing alongside each other. Just different classes.

This according to my memory of
The Jalopnik article on the HuruPeFeo.

I'm sorry guys i just think the back is 🤬 ugly like 150% ugliest back on a car i have ever seen :indiff:

Front 7/10
Sides 7/10
Back :lol::dopey:🤬:lol::yuck:

I actually think the first generation looked better than the facelifted ones.
Eh the rear is way too gawky and makes the car seem really tall at the rear (verticals lights and grilles to blame), the horizontal lights helped make it wide, meaning it looked more aggressive and sporty compared to the first gen.

I do think the simple front was better though

I have to say I love all sides of the Huracan, it's like a stylistically calmed down Audi-fied Lambo and it suits it because it's not bonkers like it's bigger brothers.

As for the first gen Gallardo, I loved that rear! Obviously I have different tastes

I was just reading the new Car and Driver showcasing all the new 2015 cars. They have the Huracan tested at 0-60: 2.5 sec, 1/4 mile: 10.4 @135mph  That seems a bit ludicrous.

Edit: someone said Motortrend had it run 0-60 in 3.2 sec?

I like the front of the first-generation Gallardo, but the rear of the '13 LP560 best. The base '13 looks ugly overall...

...unless it's the Squadra Corse variant. Then it's beautiful. Much better than the Huracan or Aventador.
