As you can see, my time was fast enough to beat the top record on Cyberscore. What makes my benchmark special to me is that Cyberscorers are not restricted to NOS whereas I am. :)

I have a memory card going to Igni on Monday with the replay, so he'll be able to vouch for it if need be.

"General Driving Rules:
Two tires must be on the track pavement at all times, no cutting through the grass or shoulder, though curbing counts as part of the track pavement." -I just noticed that, Im still going to only post times with all tires on the road though. I must have miss read it the first time lol. Thats one rule that can be exploited for an unfair edge. Its one thing I dont like about the replays of the world record gt4 times on youtube, they dont count in my book but they are still fast. Im used to watching WR replays on FM2 and running times, it was about running fast on the track rather then exploiting the grass or not giving a damn if you did. If your not penilized for going into the grass and know you can control the car in the grass then you will push harder in those sections where the grass is friendly, using the grass as extra road. I think Im trying to say its just not right to use the grass to hotlap. And I think this rant is over lol. Im going to bed now but I have a little more to share about one lap time Im very proud of on FM2.

In what way does my general driving rule say you can use the grass to gain time. If you have two tires on the pavement, and two in the grass or dirt, you lose time. My driving rule is about things like jumping curbs like on Trial Mountain and others or cutting corners on Fuji and others.

When you say "no cutting through the grass or shoulder" I think your talking about leaving the track to cut corners. Which would then mean someone can fly through a chicane droping half their car in the dirt in both turns, getting through the turn faster then they would have if they stayed on track. I would consider that to be cutting the shoulder, shoulder to me means the side of the road. Could you be more clear on that?

If someone exited a turn hitting the gas to soon and went halfway off the track exiting it, I think it would be faster then taking it properly only using the track. I think that because the grass has such a small effect on speed if you are on and off it quickly IMHO. I would not consider this to be cutting the grass or shoulder because your not driving a shorter distance, your just on it to exit a turn faster then you could if you stayed on track. The reason I belive it would be faster is because you have more room to build more speed then you would if you were only limited to the track space. You might even be able to setup for a turn in the grass to carry more speed through out it. That is where I belive your rules can be exploited.

Now about my fastest lap ever at the ring on FM2. After the carousel and the short up hill section there is a right hand turn that leads to a down hill section. When I exited that right hand turn I accedently droped half my car in the grass. Isnt it ironic after reading my last post? I think it is, and I will never know how much penalty time I got because I ran it with no HUD in MT, didnt even have a tac. I still think back years later wondering how much of a penalty I got, Im sure I got some because that spot never failed to give you penalty time when I ran with HUD. I only took the HUD off maby a week or two befor I ran it, I think it was days but its been so long I cant remember.

When exactly did you run your hotlap? You just got this game, what, two weeks ago? Your hotlap was run in GT4 and not FM2, right?

It's admirable that you want to keep all tyres on the road at all times, but BH-21's rule reflects general Gran Turismo On-line racing rules, as well as many top real life racing series;
