Lapped Cars in Sports Mode???

Can we petition PD to ghost any car being lapped please? It's one thing to have that cost us races in daily races but another in the manufacturer's cup. Some asshole in an M6 being lapped waited until I was side by side with him coming out of spoon curve and rammed me off on purpose 🤬

Man that sucks. I was being lapped by an alien yesterday and I made sure that I stayed well out of their way, gave enough room to drive a truck through.
