Mine is as follows:

"I had the last 5 laps on Gran Turismo 5 on Trial Mountain in my Peugeot 905 LM Race Car, It was simply nostalgic.

Also Trial Mountain being in all Gran turismo games was always my most favourite track and always has been.

Looking back in the past with these amazing racers from all over the globe.
From rally racing to endurance races, from drifting to sprint races & time trial monsters.

I had so many memorable days and races on this game, it all came flooding back, even racing against some GT Academy finalists for fun and laughs.

GT Academy 2012 was very successful and I nearly got in to GT Academy Finals, just 80 places away from the big time. I honed most of my skills at GT Academy 2012.

GT Academy 2013 was a rough tough learning curve pushing your driving right to the limits on a track nobody really drove on.

I made so many great great friends on Gran Turismo 5 and we still race even today.

Getting the wheel setup for Gran Turismo was like making it into a new game, you should have seen my face that day hahahah!

And I end the last lap doing 6 revs in the Peugeot 905, to represent the 6 in 1996 (the year I was born)

Backed out the menu to hear my favourite song just happen to play

The Cult -Sanctuary

A perfect song to end the game and let the memories of Gran Turismo flood in in with such nostalgia. I turned off the system right when the song stopped.

I now add to the collection of Gran Turismo series to my shelf where they shall stay preserved.

Thank you Kazunori Yamauchi and team Polyphony Digital for such great games.

Thanks for playing."

Long story short: Don't have a wheel anymore so I've started driving manual tranny on a DS3 and actually I now drive faster with minimal mistakes! Why? Shifting gears helps keep your RPMs high, brake softer and get into much fewer overruns, over steer!

I got in a little Sunday Cup practice with the Fit, then a three lap race in arcade mode in the X2011 on SSRX. I think that'll be it. I don't want to burn myself out.

I turned the game on, went through my garage, picked a track, did a couple laps and realized I was bored and would rather do something else.

I just turned it off actually, going to write a review for kicks on my site tomorrow comparing 6 and 5.

I really disliked 5, so no feelings on throwing that video game in the closet with the others. Lol

Did some driving on the G-trail with the delta integrally to wrap things up. Did some looking through my garage and through my pictures aswell. I'll probably play GT5 from time to time (maybe). But it was still a little sad to turn it off for the last time before GT6 comes out.

My last experience was trying to re-learn how to get my Fanatec CSR Elite and Clubsport Pedals working with GT 5 in preparation for GT 6 and spending like an hour figuring it all out...haven't touched this combination of gear in well over a year. Hopefully, I'm all sorted for tomorrow.

I watched some replays from the beginning and took my first car out on a slow cruise around the green hell (My hearts home). Then I took the disc out looked at the ring that was scratched into it by my step brothers playstation and put it to rest back in the case. 3 years of war and we made it buddy. Onwards to GT6.

My last experience was with a hybrid (literally) Mach 1 around the Nurburgring, and creating a 2jZ FRS for one last session around Tsukuba before letting gt5 collect dust.
One of these days, when I'm cleaning my closet and seeing a cracked case with a pic of an SLS, I'll fondly remember the many moments I didn't like with this game.

I started doing 24 Hrs of The Ring, which led to absolute frustration about 5 hours in and I quit. I was beating the AI while it was raining. As soon as it stopped, I was dead meat in the 905.

I'm about to put GT5 in the cabinet for the first time since it has entered our home. I want to race that race in a GT car and not be forced to use the almighty Red Bull just to ensure a win.

So long GT5.

My last racing experience with gt5 was the last race in the gtp global rallycross championship, which ended up not being my most memorable few races. My very last experience was just watching all 220 replays i had saved. I wouldve had more lol but my last ps3 yld lol.

Just retired GT5 by driving four cars that won't be in GT6 -- Jenson Interceptor, Ginetta G4, Ferrari F10, Ferrari F2007 -- and then finished it by driving my two favourite cars on my two favourite tracks in the game -- Ferrari F40 on the Nordschleife and the McLaren F1 at Spa. Good night, sweet prince.

I won the Gran Turismo World Championship (A-spec) on a RX-7 TC. Then I played the song used for Ryu's ending in Street Fighter II (Ceremony means nothing to him. The fight is all.).

:)

Decided to fill the last week starting a fresh GT5 account/starting over. Realised quite quickly that i could use an old Countach to will one of the nostalgia seasonal events quite easily, over and over with reduced PP so my winnings per race were over 1 million. Grinding on that for a week and basically buying up every monster car that showed up in the UCD. Amazing what you can acquire in 1 week from scratch. It was also a pleasure driving that car around high speed ring on sport tires. Can't wait to have it as premium tomorrow! So long GT5, and thanks for all the fish.

I put a little video together highlighting some of the iconic things (IMO) about the game. Was filmed with my iPhone 4, edited on my iPad Mini, and I made the music myself in garage band.

Great job there Liam. One question tho, how can you drive so far from the monitor screen? I mean your driving setup seems to far from the screen...it gives me lack of driving feeling. Just MHO. Anyways, I laughed hard at the Corvette customization screen XD

Last thing I did in GT5 was take a picture of my Mini Countryman.

First thing I'm going to do in GT6 (after the race and tutorial and whatnot) is take a photo of the Fit.

I did the lightweight K cup seasonal last night. Used a Honda Fit for the first 3 races, then I had to look up some tips in the GT5 Seasonal Events forum here to get past the 4th race on the Autumn Ring Mini Reverse. Used a Daihatsu Move modified to within an inch of it's life  The 5th race on the karting track was a lot of fun and I won on my second try. I really had a good time driving those tiny cars, they corner like crazy when properly tuned.

Ran some WRS laps in the Muira at Suzuka to test out Gyte progressive brake spring on my G27... knocked 0.15 off my previous best lap :)
