Late introduction...

So I'm not the first user to have used and abused the multiple forums / subforums before stumbling across the induction point! I haven't been here too long and not yet "established" but I don't intend on going anywhere...

In the real world I go by the name of Perry. A nickname I used whilst in school was Pezza (inventive?...) and when I played football this was stolen to become Pezzarinho due to my attempted Brazilian-esque flair (mainly only within training sessions), although I failed and ended up flat on my backside more often than not! 17 was my (chosen) squad number.

I found GTPlanet during the GT4 era when I was after the prize car lists. I was a long time guest before and GT5 came out before I registered (yes that long!). Originally started just within the GT5 forum, but gradually I've branched out.

I have played all of the Gran Turismo games, though I never actually owned GT1. By the release of GT4 I was hooked, buying it and GT5 the day they were released.

I play with a DS3, due to the layout of my room. Moving soon so I will probably be adapting to a wheel VERY soon (recommendations appreciated).

I have posted in the F1 2010 / 2011 and DiRT 3 boards, but I've also played ModNation Racers, LittleBigPlanet 1 + 2, Race Driver Grid, InFamous and the Bioshock games lately. I don't normally play shooters, but the last 2 mentioned are very good. I should also note Netkar Pro. I have it at home but don't play it online. More to follow on this below...

So I'm into my racing like all of us here, and there goes beyond the PS3 as well. I've ventured into Karts, experiences detailed here already today. Most of my time however is spent at a simulator centre nearby (would like to add a link to their site, could someone advise me whether or not that contravenes AUP on commercials?). Monday to Friday I'll drop by to talk to the people there or for a quick blast in the sim, and Saturday's I work there as an instructor as well. Sunday's I race there in the championship events they run. This is where Netkar Pro comes in, since this is the software they run and why I have it on my PC at home. Again, won't go into it in too much detail so as not to flaunt the AUP other than to PM me if interested in more information I guess.

And there is the story of me! Look forward to getting to know you all better (and I promise not ALL of my posts are this long!)
