Congrats on the series win bakugkiki, and thanks to everyone for such a great series. I'm all for 1 hour at the ring but I would prefer to have it during daylight or weather change. I'm on the east coast of the usa so these races take place at 11 am my time. The tv I use is next to a window with a ton of light that comes in and no shade, this makes it very hard for me to see night tracks. I'd be all for doing a night race if we can push it back a couple hours, but I might be drunk by then.

My race started awesome me and Seven were about 7secs in head of everyone then the race got black flagged. I was rather pissed off, but as someone was a bad driver it was unfair to carry on.

So on the restart i got to 2nd, then i got to 1st then it said i cut the corner then i had a 5sec penalty then on the next corner it said it again when i was in the middle of the track. By then i was a long way of the pace. I had the most boring first 10 laps when i was just on my own, but as everyone started to pit on laps 10-14 i thought i would keep out and see if it would pay off. But i caught up Jake and he still need to pit, Jake pulled into the pits on lap 15-16 i think. But i thought i would risk it and stay out, but once i was coming out of the pits i saw Jake Raw past me. But i knew i had the advantage because i had fresh tires and i could absolutely floor it and i managed to overtake Jake, then i was slowly catching Ben up because he was on old tires. So i was trying to take every corner at maximum speed, and with my extra BHP i managed to over take Ben down the back straight. Then after that it was just a matter of cruising to the finish line.

And i can't wait for the last race of the season at Nurburging, because it is going to test everyone because it is going to be a night race :)

I have just done a safe night lap on the Nurburging 24h layout, which it looks like we'll be using, and I got in the high eight minutes. That means that 5 laps will be just about the right amount for the endurance.

I also found out that you can't choose the time of day on the Type V format so the next best thing is the 24h layout.

I have no preference on course, time, weather etc. If we did 100 laps of the autumn ring mini I'd be happy with it. Just need confirmation of the track/time/weather so I can setup accordingly.

Congrats to Baku for the win. Lets hope he is around for the next series.

Bring on the ring.

I don't know if my message came through clearly but due to the whole restart thing, my available time was cut short. I'd lent my mate my 'real' car, earlier in the day and he turned up around half way through our race, to return my keys and parking remote...

Nothing I could do but climb out of my seat from behind my wheel, buzz the door, open my door, let him in, greet him... say '****' a few times at the awesomness of his arrival time and that was that.

Kind of annoying... :ouch:

Well done to Bakku though... Great skills dude! You deserved to take the season with your consistent fast times. (Want to team up for the next one? ;))

pEAs

Like I did say at the end of the race tho. The Nurb!

Ok, I think the Tuscan has won the vote... I voted for Mazda :(

Anyway, I will make a new thread for the next Season now.
Remember, you need a teammate so just find someone who we have been racing with in this series or a friend.

The next season is going to be more professionally planned out. This season was good so I could learn from it to make next season even better!

I will link the thread in a second!

Guys that black flag for me was totally unfair i didnt hit somebody. infact i stopped so thanks for an unfair race !.

You hit Torzilla, and you hit me under braking and used me as a wall to bounce off. Also I recieved 3 complaints on you in Quali...

Dude I tried to be cool and give you the benefit of the doubt at the first race and I didn't say anything when you broke late and pushed me into the grass on the second lap of the last race. If you think that you are not racing dirty or out of control than you are one of two things, stupid or blind. Your accusation that anyone here is racing unfair is total bs, and you are not fooling anyone by complaining about it. On another not, I would like to try to sign up for the TVR series but I will be going to China for about a year in a few weeks and I don't know if I will be able to participate. The Tuscan is a great car and so much fun to drive, but I'll keep my eye open for series with you guys in the future. This Lotus series has easily been the best online racing I've had with GT5.

Define a few weeks...
We wont start the new tournament for about 3 weeks, and that will last 5 weeks. As we are doing teams, it would be a bit awkward for you just to do a couple of races into the season...
Hope you have fun in China, I am guessing it is career related so good luck! Shame you have to go :(

Thanks man, Im not sure of the timeline, thats why I said a few weeks. The way it looks I won't be able to make the TVR series, but Ill be sure to get back with you guys in the future.

Sure... Will you be playing in China? :)

For the next race we should do the : Nurburing Nordschleife change time. Because on the other one the track is to long. And you can set it just for night on this one.

The main concern, and the reason why the 24h layout was chosen, is down to space on track. However organised the group may be we will always have 'first corner mayhem', this may be heightened due to the close standings in the race.

The 24h layout is long but the GP section allows everyone to space out and get into position for the ring. The alternative is to make the race 4 laps; in reality it is a very similar distance to if we had 5 laps on the plain 'ring.

Also, to all that haven't registered. The new Series has been opened for applications, if you hope to get a place in the TVR championship get yourselves over to the new thread. Any changes to the series will be outlined there.

Can we all check out the new Tuscan thread for next season? I'm not signing anyone up unless you sign up youself on the thread!

I'm still looking forward to the Grand Finalé of the maiden series of LCS. It appears that a lot of concentration has moved away from Season 1, despite the close standings, and towards the new series.

I too have been practising more with the Speed 12 6 than the Elise but it seems like a welcome break. The two cars really are a contrast and should prove to be good fun when we finally open Season 2 in a few weeks time.

Thankfully I'm quite familiar with the Nurburgring so I don't feel particularly worried that I haven't practised as much as I had for the other races. It should be a great end!

Still looking for you regulars to join next seasons thread!! I will send messages over PSN to the people who havn't signed, we still have 6 spaces left!

Night race still?

That is correct. Well, actually, it's going to be 50% day and 50% night or as close to it as we can get. I did some testing earlier on in the week and I managed to get a 5 lap time progression that is 2 laps in the light, 1 lap to darken in and in the final 2 laps we have darkness. Does that sound okay? We didn't want to disadvantage everyone by making it all night.

It should be fun!

I'm expecting carnage. Especially when everyone's tyres start to fade as the pitting strategy needs to be honed.

Next problem I have is the evil 1.06 update. I aint checked, but if the transmissions are now fully configurable, it's another few hours of testing for me. The 111r powerband is peaky to say the least.

Gears are now fully customisable. My lack of knowledge means I don't know all the implications of this! I hope it doesn't mean 1337H4xx0r tuners will be able to get some huge advantage over me.

I think tyres will last about 3 laps at the max, I did some testing and everything seemed fine to me. I suppose we'll see.
