I think it would be a good idea to do Suzuka now and then Fuji F afterwards. Unless, that is, you want to have a finalé doing something a bit different like 4 laps on Nurburgring GP where 2 laps are light and 2 laps are dark! I think that sounds like fun!

Based on how much I have practised, and where I have practised, I am actually leaning back to racing on Suzuka whether or not we race on Fuji afterwards. I simply think it requires more concentration and would create a much more competitive race, even if the lead does change so often due to slipstream on Fuji.

I don't know what you guys are doing to get these lap times, but I can't break high 2:05s. Is the race this week at 4 again or 5?

All new information will usually be posted in the OP on the first page. The race will be at 4PM GMT (UTC+0) on Sunday, just as the previous race.

Any new developments will be posted both on the OP and as a current post.

As far a practising goes I am far from the mood I need to be in to practise! I drove without enthusiasm for nearly an hour on Suzuka, only managing to put in one satisfactory lap. Hopefully I'll feel okay in the next few days and get some real practice in.

I should be around for some racing tomorrow guys 

By the way guys, after next weeks race we will have a weeks break and enter the next season. The next season will have teams of two, so pair up with people already in the tournament or good friends. There will be no induvidual score, only team.

Guys, I don't know if I'll be able to attend the race today. I've got some issues going on wright now and my head is really not in the game for racing :indiff:. Maybe I'll feel a bit better at racing time, we'll see... :nervous:

Transition from pad to wheel is still ongoing :P

What amazes me is the greater need for tuning on the wheel, the pad it's easy.

See you all tonight at 4pm.

Race started.
Excistor rammed into more than 2 drivers due to braking late.
Black Flagged...
Excistor is refusing to leave...
Getting annoyed now.

Great clean racing.

But better still, lots of sportsmanship from those who 'got it a bit wrong'.

Looking forward to the ring finale next week.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Bakugekiki / Tom for winning the 1st season. 1 race left and the score is very close.

Just to clear this up, please vote for either Monza or Nurburgring...

Just race at Nurburging it will be a good track to end on. But we have to race it in the night. To make it more fun.👍

Well, thanks everyone for such a great series! I never expected to win a single race, let alone the whole series with one race to spare!

The Suzuka race, like the previous two, was filled with drama for both the right and wrong reasons. Qualifying went well for me; I set my pole position lap time in the first 10 minutes which left me waiting for it to be beaten for another 10 minutes!

This is when we had a real mix up, after the positions were 'rearranged' on the grid due to some error I was placed at the back of the grid, although we continued with the race. After an acceptable start I moved my way up the field but was then part of a black flag incident that created a controversial incident that saw Excistor excluded from the tournament.

Then came the restart, it was decided that a rolling start would enable us to use our original qualifying positions without restarting qualifying. The start went relatively smoothly, I managed to get a 3 second lead quite quickly. Then I had Esprit on my tale, we had a few corners to battle on until he was hit with a penalty. Again I pushed ahead and made up a healthy lead that I kept for the whole race.

It was still a tight race, The_Black_Stig_ was pushing for the entire race. He managed to get my lead down to eight seconds when he pitted at the mid point. I stayed out to try and gain an advantage, seeing as he'd leave the pits in traffic, which seemed to pay off. Pitting on lap 13 I had a good amount of time to spare, I watched the follower's arrows move closer to the home stretch until I exited the pits with a six second lead.

This lead was maintained until the Stig appeared to make a mistake and put me thirty seconds ahead, it was quite relaxing from that point!

Looking forward to the next race, the pressure is off so I can make myself a nuisance with the incredibly tight race standings!

My race started well, I managed to get from 6th to 4th. I fought with xeriff and Esprit and finally pulled away. I was then fighting with Black Stig and eventually got into 2nd. After a mistake, I ended up fighting with Esprit again for about 8 laps, and I pitted on about lap 16. Esprit stayed out until lap 18 and I ended up passing him as he exited the pits.

I eventually lagged behind because of a couple of mistakes, and I finished 6th.
