OK my two choices were:

Monte Carlo (Monaco GP): I love it and hate it, because it's so easy just to lose concentration or try too hard and crash. Also, I've noticed here your car is alot weaker than other circuits, if your so much as graze the inside wall of Casino you will crash and thus retire so that's why I hate it.

Silverstone (British GP): I just find it impossible, especially the first sector, if you go too fast into the first turn you ruin the sector by trying to make up for it. I know people are going to hate this, but, I find in my own opinion that theres no rhythm or flow to it and the driving line (Which I use because I'm s**t without it) is very poor and encourages you to go too fast into turn one.

Yeah I'm not fan of the first sector at Silverstone either. Otherwise I would have to say Shanghai because of the first 2 corners

My choices...

Catalunya Never really liked the track and that chicane didn't really improve matters.

Yeongam Just don't like the flow of the track... Maybe it will grow on me with time.

The 2 tracks that are my least favourite are as follows:

Kuala Lumpur Because I just find it tricky to sustain a rhythm round there, and I'm not very fast there either. I think some of the corners tricky such as the double apex corner in the middle of sector 2.

Hungaroring Although I'm pretty fast here, I get bored when racing here as it is almost too easy and the AI aren't very fast here. I end up getting annoyed when I look at the lap count and I still have 15 or so laps left when it feels like I've been driving for hours :P

Most despised track, actually laps the field for me, is Marina Bay (Singapore). Horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible and more horrible course.

I'd probably plump for those two as well y'know. I enjoy them both in their own right, but I just don't enjoy them as much as all the other tracks.

On an older thread, I think I stated Hungary, and I still stand by it. I used to love it in F1:CE and other games as its a real drivers track, you really get to flex an F1 car's best abilities at this track. But in F1 2010 its a nightmare, specifically the 2nd to last corner - its rediculously slippy. I just hate what Codemasters did to it.
Same goes for Monaco, but I love Monaco too much for me truly state it as my least favourite.

The rest I love to various degrees. My personal best circuits which I seem to consistently do well at (offline and online) are Montreal, Shanghai, Melbourne and Istanbul. These are not really surprising as they have mostly carried over 100% from F1:CE which I'm very practiced at.
New ones that I find I'm quite fast at are Valencia and Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi in particular I always feel I'm going too slow and missing too many apexs so I'm quite surprised to catch people online.

I don't really like Bahrain's 2010 layout but other than that no other tracks come close to how disappointed I am with Codemasters version of the Hungaroring.

Catalunya Never liked the track in previous games, whilst I'm pretty quick in the 1st sector, the rest of the lap is horrible. I don't think I'll ever like the track in any game it's on.

Abu Dhabi I still don't really know the track and I've got no inclination to like it, it doesn't flow, it's a pretty boring layout and just difficult to be consistent. Maybe with time I'll get to like it.

My 2 least favourite tracks are:

Hungaroring Don't really like the flow of the circuit

Hockenheim Just hasn't got the same feel as the old one, never have really got on with the new 'stadium' section of the circuit

I just can't see how Singapore is not running away as the least favorite. I agree it can be a good technical challenge, but fun? Apart from learning the fast line through the curby chicane (Sinagpore Sling 10 I guess it's called), that was kinda cool I admit, the rest of the course is just plain tedious. Accelerate hard for 2 beats break hard for tight corner, accel hard for 3 beats break hard for tight corner, repeate'.

I mean look at the corners 16 thru 21. It is like trying to drive on a zipper. Meh :yuck:

Hahahaha... just randomly decided to check the voting, apparently Interludes hates HALF of the calender

if they got rid of 18-21 turns it'd be so much better, could actually attack in to final corner.

Took me a bit to learn Bahrain this morning but once I got the hand of the tight corners in the middle of the circuit it turned out to be quite fun :]

I voted for

Catalunya: It is pretty much a test track. It's just a bigger Tsukuba in my opinion. Turn 1 is too fast for confident overtaking and that chicane is horrible. Luckily turn 10 is suitable or else I would throw the ps3 into the wall:lol:. However I am now really fast at the track after what seemed like a billion laps practicing for a race on a boring day. I had a high 1:18 I think. I'm not sure. You can check it on the Leaderboards but it's fast anyways.

Secondly,

Silverstone:It's a very good track, it's just I can't seem to learn the new section to it. I could do a 1:31 one lap and then a 1:35 the next. Very inconsistent and it annoys me.
P.s. Mattymc, you can take turn 1 flat out, just ignore the driving line.;)

I don't know why people hate Hungary so much, it's like a go-kart track, so much fun. Although I do think that CodeMasters did a bad job with Hungary, I think it could be better, looks better in real life.

Bahrain: Have raced it sooo many times when my save kept corrupting.

Catalunya: I just cant seem to be fast here? Struggled to even finish in top 15!!

I can't stand Catalunya - seems easy at first but the turns are very misleading and off camber it seems. Very stressful to get through the race without spinning out or missing an apex

Also, I LOVE monaco but when it comes to Race day I can't ever seem to stay on the track properly. Always taking accidental short cuts and corner cuts. I actually got DQ'd in year 1 for cutting so much but I honestly wasn't even trying to. UGH. lol

@ icelt

Haha! I checked it aswell before you said that and laughed, for no reason he just chose 5...

Mine use to be Singapore but I have gotten alot better. Its tough in the rain but still winnable. I learned that its about control going in and out of the corners. Also slow in slow out. Now the hated track goes to Catalunya. That track sucks big time for me. I hate that it will be in Shift 2.

I have to agree with you here - I spoke too soon when I voted earlier. After a nice hour long practice session, qual, and 11 lap race, I actually kinda like Marina Bay. Like Flight said, its all about corners

I'm almost done with my first season and it's been a sweet one so far, currently holding out at the top of the championship!

Gonna up the difficulty on the next season and see what I can pull off

@ fissionproject

What level are you on?

I'm on the second highest level, I think it's called "Hard"

I love Brazil the best, always a great race especially 07,08 when Vettel overtook Hamilton with only a lap or 2 left o man what a race i was jumping around everywhere even tho it was 4am hahaha

Whatever the one right above amateur is that's what I've been rolling with

Pretty good season, finished it up last night. Ended up 2nd and 3rd in a few races, and I got DQ'd on MOnaco so that was a bust lol

I was only doing them @ 20% too just to get used to the tracks

Gonna go up to 50% this next season and turn off some aids :)

And all the common "fan favourites". Typical.

I don't understand what's so critical about 7.

What don't you understand? As it says in the diagram, "overtaking point", its a diagram to help people watching the race..i.e. telling them "look out for this bit, overtaking tends to happen here".
It doesn't mean its critical when you are driving it.

Catalunya sucks more for the AI being blindingly quick there, more so than any other track. I don't expect it to be as bad in Shift 2 as that won't be at F1 speeds, circuits are not completely the same when you are driving different types of car.

Catalunya. Not for the track itself but... is really annoying race there.. is just unreal the two final sectors times in comparison than the first.

Monaco, it's a huge waste of time and gets me really mad sometimes. Qualifying is always good for me there but the race hates me, especially when it's raining.
