What are your 2 least favorite tracks?

Malaysia and China are my least favourite circuits in the game probably. Surprised to see Catalunya so high on the list, it is one of my favourites. Its also the hardest track in the game to race against the AI as they are blindingly fast there.

I'll wright it again MONACO I hate it....but why.....It's HARD WORK and by that I mean I have to concentrate so hard [NOT TOO HARD] so hard to put a perfect lap in, I feel the same about Suzuka with the concentration but Suzuka's corners reward you for your HARD WORK with thir high speed flowing constantly changing nature, Monaco's dont.....[ FOR ME ]
It is my opinion that Monaco's lay out is slow and tight for an F1 car and does not give the car a chance to do what it does best...
FOR ME...an F1 car at Monaco is like a Tiger in a zoo and thats why I hate it.

He means Frames Per Second. On the 360 I can confirm that in career mode this track is almost unplayable because of how low the framerate drops in and around the pool section. It is VERY annoying and I'm amazed at how the issue got through testing as it is the only track that has this problem.

Interestingly there is zero impact to the framerate when racing the track online.

Oh frames per second.....well I use a PS3 and I cant say I've noticed, Im glad he means that...I thought I was missing out on somthing, thank you for the info..

^ Once again, you've made it clear that you hate Monaco because you think it's too hard, maybe you need more practice. The only issue I have is with the frame rate drops, but other than that it is an amazing circuit.

Not sure what you mean when you say Monaco doesn't reward hard work, because I would argue that there is nothing more rewarding that pulling off a quick, clean lap there

I belive this thread is about your least favorite circuit not someone else's opinion.....My former post on this matter it quite clear, TOO HARD and HARD WORK have completely different meanings..

How do you figure?

On the topic of the thread though, I vote Catalunya purely because of the Turn 14/15 chicane. The circuit used to flow beautifully until they went and ruined it

The AI are unusually fast at Catalunya. I suspect that's why many hate that track and why it appears to be leading the poll, hehe.

Exactly, it was the same in F1:CE where coincidentally the AI were at their strongest at Barcelona. Everyone said it was their least favourite track, and it was also partly because the final corner, New Holland, was a mega fast right hander which if you ballsed it up, spat you into the gravel. Now instead, it's a easy medium speed right hander but everyone finds the preceding chicane infuriating because of it's tendency to make you spin out. I've figured out a decent way through it though :)

I love Catalunya, it's got a really nice rhythm to it IMO.

I felt the same way, but then I won it in my second season...just a fast track, but beatable.

Monte Carlo however....

I voted for:

Bahrain- I hate the section that was added for '10. Thankfully it's gone now.

Melbourne- I don't suck as much as I used to but it's still not my favorite track to drive.

WOW....Spanish GP not getting much love eh? It's one of the best tracks. That chicaine isn't hard either, one of my favourites actually.

Marina Bay: Pretty much all the corners look alike, and it's a bit too long. It's the one race I didn't enjoy tbh.

Suzuka: Can't stand it. This has been my least favorite track since GT4. The first corner(or should I say two corners in one?) is mis-leading, it took me 4 or 5 laps with different set ups to finally give it up and treat it as a double corner, instead of a fast long turn. You'd think with enough downforce you can pull throw it start to finish, but you can't -_-. There is not a single corner on this track that I like. I can't stand any of them. Ironically this was the only race I didn't win from the first time in the FGT championship(GT5). FGT's way too snappy though, and I didn't care much because I had already won the championship.

I would have to say Singapore because i just can't get a good flow around the circuit and Korea for exactly the same reason.

I used to be quite good at Abu Dhabi, but now that I've turned all my driving aids off and started shifting manually, it's a PITA to nail those corners. Ugh

I can see why you might hate it. It remember it in F1 2005. Even on the easy difficulty setting - I'd won everything until then, but the difficulty on Monaco increased exponentially.

Monaco for me but Suzaka has always been a jinx in every game I've driven but not tried it in F1 2010.

Monaco though is a pain. I've been doing well for Williams but in practice I can't set any decent times and after everyone sets times I'm last and can't improve. It doesn't help that the team want me to qualify 5th and finsigh at least 3rd.

Turkey: For some reason I just can't master it, period. The AI always dominates me there, no matter how hard I try, or which setup I use.

Monte Carlo: Since when was it a good idea to turn a thin, crowded, seaside city into a GP track?! It's too thin for motorsports, so it annoys me whenever I race in it on whatever driving game it shows up on. Not to mention that this is also the site of one of the ugliest GT5 B-spec events of all time...:yuck:

After completing my first season, I have to say that Marina Bay is now my least favorite track. I did a long race weekend and just couldn't master it. Qualified around 5th but finished 8th due to spinning and hitting the walls lol.

Haha period.. and seriously.. they probably thought it was a good idea back in the 50s, cars were a lot slower then.. :P

Mine use to be Singapore but I have gotten alot better. Its tough in the rain but still winnable. I learned that its about control going in and out of the corners. Also slow in slow out. Now the hated track goes to Catalunya. That track sucks big time for me. I hate that it will be in Shift 2.

Those are mine too!

Singapore is like slot car racing and 90 degree turns with walls!

Catalunya has no flow/too tight

Marina Bay: because it's extremely difficult to get through it "smoothly" and it's a bit annoying. The looks are great, tho.

Yeongam: because it's design is extremely boring.

Korea GP just can't get any flow going on this track.
You're not meant to. The first sector is all about straight-line speed and braking. The second sector is all about racecraft. The final sector is designed to test the best set-up. It was a deliberate decision, one that was intended to challenge the teams by offering them a "best two out of three deal" where they could play to their cars' strengths with a setup that works in two sectors, but is not optimal for the third.
