Comments: Although your 2 mile course isn't what I expected for touge since it's pretty simple. The car needs more time to be adjusted to handle such bouncey roads. And for the lower rating, I didn't appreciate the practice but you'll never win comment. It was quite rude and wasn't called for. Don't get cocky because you won. Try driving your car on a real track. It's quite a difference. Are you using a custom transmission, because how were you able to pull still from my FD when my car is way lighter then your STI?

Anyone else want to battle?

I dont have custom transmission and I did tell you that 4WD has better starts

I did say we go at the first corner...

Even if 4WD has a better start, in real racing the lighter car will always have the advantage. Just makes me wonder how you were able to keep pulling again with a 200 lbs disadvantage.

I didn't know if it was the start or the end of the corner thought

I also think that a crash = defeat. Not sure about spinning out though, you can always recover if the leader spins out at some point as well.

During a crash though, it may as well be over if you have engine damage or rear suspension problems :P

Heh guys please use private messages - dont spam the thread with 1 sentence posts. Otherwise it will get hard for Timber to keep this organized.

Thx

Well said vasho, I went out for a little family time and got back, have to read a couple of one liners. Battle conditions can be discussed once you guys are in the room on GT5. You can just plug in a Usb keyboard if you find using a DS3 too difficult.

@topban82, there's a consistency in your battle rating being low. I've been in the same room with you as well. You can read what you are typing before you send. It's worth while adjusting your presentation of what you want to say.

I agree about spinning out, the race should continue. So far, there is enough space to dodge, all depends on your car and skills.

Car damage on the other hand is a little unbalanced between different drivetrains in my opinion. 4WD can take a huge amount of damage and can still run quite well. My MR2 on the other hand isn't forgiving when it gets damaged.

I think if there's suspension damage, the race can still continue, but if there's chassis damage, the player should automatically lose. Like what Nightingale said.

right but when I race I just race and if someone spins i keep going that's all and I try to stay out of trouble as well.
Edit: I do use a iPod on this thread a lot but just now I am using my laptop.

if i'm doing a run and someone spin i slow down to see if there alright to keep going but if I spin I expect them to keep running

Well we started he darted off the line so I just went as well, so we came to the first corner and we both crashed neck and neck and he got in my way, then we got to the 3rd corner and I passed him and from there on I was pulling away from him so it was quite easy. He sayed that i was very fast but I wasent going that fast because I was not wanting to crash so that tops it off and he alsow said that I was so far away he coulnt see me. Well can't wait for my rematch next week.

comment: timber was defending very well blocking the inside line of every corner. i passed him the 1st time bumping him so i let him pass again. he continued defending and i find a room to pass at 3/4 of the track. it was a really good battle. i wonder how much it will be good in a only downhill track! like initialD!

Anyone want to battle tonight? Looking for strong competition without the attitude or rudeness. I know the car I chose can't do anything even with tuning. But nonetheless, I want to start testing some of the new cars I might use in Season 1.

Is it just me, or are these Imprezas getting crowded? Oh well... Imma be on all day today, find me on the Touge!!

I am a little confused. How can you tell whether you have suspension or chassis damage? And why isn't suspension damage also a loss?

I can't wait to start my new car, 4wd is boring.

well, suspension damage just makes you wobbly... its not impossible to overcome some wobble wobble

I can't wait to start my new car, 4wd is boring.

Im trying out some new suspension setups for some heavy vehicles to see how they face against the JDMs (which happen to be the dominating force on the Touge)

Skilled, clean racer. Couldn't quite hold on tight enough for a decisive tie on the first round.
