I think all the cars that we usually run can run on snow tires. I don't know about tuner cars.

Doubt tuner cars will run on snow tyres plus not all of the cars we run can be fitted with snow tyres either. My VX is one of them meaning I"ll need to either find an alternative or focus my efforts on Class A

Edit: Found out my VX can be fitted with snow tyres. Ignore my previous statement

A very exciting match against Hann's PROTOSS RX-8. Hann chose to lead and I was able to keep up until I got out of shape on a small uphill section. Luckily I recovered without hitting the wall and set about closing the gap. I capitalised on my car's ultra light weight and handling to bring the gap down to well under 3 seconds at the end of Round 1. We see-sawed through Rounds 2 and 3 with neither of us showing any mercy. Round 4 saw Hann take advantage of my slow uphill to pass me and hold on for the win. I tried my best to get back past but my aerodynamic instability saw me damage my suspension and fall behind. Brilliant duel

Confirmed, on the first three rounds we kept pulling away and catching back up since the course had a lot of varied corners so when I saw a chance to pass on round 4 I took it and gunned it until the end, I saw you had some trouble to catch up because you were beginning to slip. Great racing 👍 I was a bit worried after you caught up from a 3 second delay on lap 1 :P

Leaderboard Updated!

Thanks OSE for the data entry, makes updating so much easier especially when the race log update is not overwhelming.

TOugh course and tough opponent, of course I know I cant keep a R1 pace in a twisted track like this, but I just don't say no to a challenge. Had great fun, but all my r34 understeer appeared in the downhill sector, and there I've lost a few seconds, wich gave Kado a deserved victory. Hope to rematch next week, ot counting of beat him, but for another dose of spirited drive!! :)

I've got two more special awards to give out this season and a possible 3rd award. We'll see how the season ends. I'll be revealing some of the Awards once Season 3 Registration closes. The Registration usually closes just before the weekend of the final week.

Well I challenged kado to this battle as we hadn't raced yet in class A I went into to it expecting a loss knowing he drives the R1 but thought i'd try and challenge him anyway to see how I would do.
Round 1 I chose to lead and for the first half of the lap kado was right behind me less then 0.5 seconds but shortly after as I glanced back I noticed he dropped back, I didn't know what happend at the time but I saw this as a chance to get the victory, kado couldn't catch me up enough before the end and I crossed the line 2.5 seconds ahead.

I consider that a very lucky win on my behalf, after the battle kado told me he got snap oversteer mid corner which explained his reason for falling back.

WOW! today must be my lucky day for sure beating two R1's in one night

I chose to lead first as I thought to myself hold him off for 1 lap and consider it a personal victory for not getting passed in the first few turns.
Round 2 I was able to hold my own and stay close enough to badboy to get us into another round, this continued for rounds 3 and 4 but badboy getting slightly further away each time he lead.
Now onto the final round where it all ended, Im leading and at this point my tyres have past their peak grip, my nerves are geting the better of me causing me to early brake for turns and badboy was right on my ass not and inch to spare at points, I was just waiting for him to make his move.
Right near the very end of the course after the tight chicane badboy got into the dirt and spun him out.
i couldnt belive me eyes when I saw it on the map I though I'd imagined it happen but it did. Probaly my bigest shock win i've ever had, great race mate very close tense driving!

After the battle badboy did tell me he was using the clutch on his wheel which would have cost him some over all time and make it harder for him to stay in a rythem.

I'm interested in the Pics! Always good to have some cool pictures of battles.

Maccer is on a roll, and a bounty has been put on his head (OSE as well, as we know it). Whoever has a winning streak of 3 or more has bonus points allocated on him, so whoever beats him gets the bonus points.

By the way, Leaderboard Updated to Post: 3970

(I'll try and get some pics up of my battle with bad tomorrow if anyones interested.)

Confirmed, watch the reply mate especially when I'm braking. Using heel and toe, but I loved this battle even though I lost because it was a matter of staying in tune with the car and the surroundings. Nice win because you deserved it, well orientated under pressure. 👍

Hey guys, what do you guys think about a two lap Grip Gambler battle style? Would that be a battle style that you would choose to play?

I've got another battle style in mind, which I'll do some testing and reveal later. Catch me online and we could test this new battle style.

A winning streak of 3.... Thats a bit low isn't it!! i think the minimum should be at least 6 or 7 win streak before the target get put on

The more streaks a player has, the more bonus points there is. So whoever beats you now will get a massive boost in bonus points.

True but i havent really battled in the last 2 days as i got another game to keep me busy  May get on tonight

Just made a 450PP Clio V6 and I feel it strikes a better balance between power, weight and handling. I"ll be using that in Class B for Season 4

Btw Timber the Christmas challange is going to be a hard one.
Because when you are behind someone you cant see anything. All you see is WHITE SNOW.
It makes wery hard for the one who is following to know when the one in front is braking etc. .

Confirmed, tried it driving behind King. Couldn't see 🤬 and my braking points were destroyed. But hey, I like it because it's a bigger challenge for the chaser and staying at a gap of less than 3 would be harder. And I dig challenges :D

Good Evening Guys, my nick is Amosh101 just as my psn id and this is my first post(might be a bit long lol, please bear with me) . Ive just got myself a ps3 and gt5 and set about finding out about a nice race club to join, and since im a fan of initial d LotS felt like the right choice. Seeing as this season is already underway i was just wondering if theres a chance i could join, but more for experience and so i can understand more of how u guys roll, maybe copy some techniques lol, so that next season i might actually be more of a decent rival. So please let me know if yes so i can register and add some of you guys to my psn. I havent decided which car i will be driving but i will do it asap, and i wish to participate on class A.

Btw some of the comments u guys post on battles are just AWESOME and Maccer_42 the pics from ur last battle look gorgeous...

Thanks all and hopefully i will see u guys in the touge soon

Yes, the registration for Season 3 is still open, you can submit your application using the form in Post #2. Once you've registered, we'll see you on the Touge.

By the way, I'm in Maccer's room now.

A long, epic and hard fought endurance race against Maccer's strong S14 lasted for 8 gruelling rounds. My little VX220 was only able to use its weight and nimble handling to stay in touch with Maccer during the rounds he was leading. As the duel wore on, I stayed closer to Maccer for longer as his front tyres were going whilst mine stayed rather strong. We went into Round 8 with almost no end in sight until I took advantage of Maccer understeering before the hairpin at the end of the small downhill early in the lap. I came in on the outside into the left hander to grab the crucial inside line for the right hand hairpin. As Maccer slid wide, I held the tighter line and was able to power ahead at the exit. I slowly edged away from Maccer to take a comfortable win at the line.

Henry lead into the first round and I chased him. I couldn't really nail down the rythm of the track so I kept a reasonable distance (or I just couldn't decrease the gap quickly). So I thought I should take the patience road. Near the end of lap 1, Henry crashed on the uphill, I braked in time and we went into round 2. In round 2, I just increased the gap and took advantage of Henry's damage from round 1.

I was having a hard time keeping pace with them. Kept loosing 2 seconds from the second sector to the finish line as well. haha... Can't get the rythm as I said. This track brings back memories of my endurance FF challenge with Wynter.

Confirmed was a tough battle your VX220 realy got the best of me here, I need to find out whats causing my S14 to wear the fronts quicker than the rears

Confirmed. Managed to counter the damage from round 1 by damaging the other side, but ran the last corner wide and lost my chances there mainly.

Me and a couple of guys just tested the new battle mode. It's an expansion of the Grip Gambler race. If you think you know LotS and your home course, you better think again.

I'll only accept this new battle style from next Core Season onwards.

New battle mode: Think of the race between Takumi and Tomoyuki Tachi or race between Keisuke and God Foot.

Cool, I have been in some battles like that some time ago, it is really cool and intense. :sly:
